Anyone got anything to say about the cap being $100 million in a few years?

Evans needs to give it up on this PnRs with Davis. He looks nervous, get him some baskets at the rim.

There's no greater testament to AD's capability as a ball player than his dragging this garbage squad, and coach, to the playoffs in the west this year

Hope Thibs goes there next season. Just don't play davis 45 minutes a game.
Re: The 2015 NBA Playoffs
Thibs is going to OKC
Re: The 2015 NBA Playoffs
That's be cool. It is a good chance for okc to finally get rid of brooks.

No joke, I think Rose just subtly fucked up his right knee again. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out later that he tweaked something.

I think the Rockets are the ultimate front-running team.

Re: The 2015 NBA Playoffs
I didn't get to watch the raptors game. Pierce still getting it done though! this will be the best 1st round series in the east and will most likely go 7.
the warriors will be fine against the pelicans. As mentioned, the pelicans need a coach. they have no idea what they are doing out there. looks like it might be a sweep.
didn't get to watch the bulls game. the highlights of rose looked good. bulls will not have any problems with the bucks. another possible sweep.
the rockets looked real dominant. terrance jones looked filthy good. I was excited to see flashes of vintage Rondo, hope we get to see more of him. Dirk is just legendary, my goodness.
Excited for tomorrow though!

Re: The 2015 NBA Playoffs
It's ridiculous. Now agents will sign guys for 2 years and dip. It will be very easy for teams to retain 3 max deals. Under this new 108 cap, OKC could have kept Hardenalpha wrote:Anyone got anything to say about the cap being $100 million in a few years?

easy to keep 3 max guys who are on deals already signed. Max is % of cap, so be just as hard to get them after max settles in though.

NBA doing all it can to devalue its premier product by letting Reggie Miller call the Spurs-Clippers series

So, I only caught the last quarter and half of the spurs/clips game and it looked pretty one sided. Granted, in the 4th, the spurs missed mad open shots but cp3 looked like he could do whatever he wanted out there. Anyone who saw the whole thing got some more insight on that?
Did that showing not make it seem like the clips kinda got this?

Re: The 2015 NBA Playoffs
CP played great, controlled ball, but I thought Blake and DJ were the story. Blake had some highlight jams, but he and DJ owned the boards and controlled the game early with their shot blocking. DJ is always great on D, but I thought Blake was really active on that end too and the Spurs just didn't look comfortable driving into the paint. TP was on Paul more than I expected and I think it allowed him to get more comfortable as the game went on.

Re: The 2015 NBA Playoffs
the greg pop press conference was as good as it gets
the worst thing the Clipps could do is win game 1, that false sense of competition is going to haunt them

D Jordan does not deserve to be in defensive player of the year conversation, but he sure played like one last night.

That AD drive on Green finishing with his left hand is ridiculous.

welcome to the J-smith show!!!
what a meltdown for the mavs. rondo acting like he's 5 years old and dirk was awful on defense (and an off shooting night).
hot damn harden is so unlikable. he might as well just become the villian for the NBA.

Re: The 2015 NBA Playoffs
Scotty Brooks gone. Easily the most interesting head coaching vacancy in a while. Westbrook and Durant seemed to love Brooks even though he seemed to be stagnating the team's potential. It's crucial for them to find the right guy, because as much as everyone said things like "Brooks needs to reign in Westbrook", it's easier said than done. It has to be someone KD likes as well with his impending free agency on the horizon. Ollie has already stated that he's staying in UConn, so it has to be someone less obvious. Thibodeau makes sense if he gets let go, but if they can't get him I'm not sure who else they'd look at. The job is such a great job though I'd be talking w/ guys like Hoiberg, Donovan, and Cal just to gauge interest.
I think Van Gundy and Karl would have been good fits, but they're a year too late (or early depending on the side).
Now they're saying Donovan has been linked to job and has been doing background research on Durant. Donovan would be a slam dunk hire IMO.
