This has to be a tough day for Russell Westbrook.

unclebengi wrote:Scotty Brooks gone. Easily the most interesting head coaching vacancy in a while. Westbrook and Durant seemed to love Brooks even though he seemed to be stagnating the team's potential. It's crucial for them to find the right guy, because as much as everyone said things like "Brooks needs to reign in Westbrook", it's easier said than done. It has to be someone KD likes as well with his impending free agency on the horizon. Ollie has already stated that he's staying in UConn, so it has to be someone less obvious. Thibodeau makes sense if he gets let go, but if they can't get him I'm not sure who else they'd look at. The job is such a great job though I'd be talking w/ guys like Hoiberg, Donovan, and Cal just to gauge interest.

I think Van Gundy and Karl would have been good fits, but they're a year too late (or early depending on the side).

:icedit:
Now they're saying Donovan has been linked to job and has been doing background research on Durant. Donovan would be a slam dunk hire IMO.
Okc has already won the offseason with this move. Can't wait to see who they get.

Wojo been tweeting about this, Ollie has interest. Says whoever gets contacted first between Ollie and Donovan will likely rule out the other. I could see why Ollie would make more sense, but I'd prefer Donovan over anyone.

Not even Reggie Miller can stop this series from being great.

Can't say enough amazing things about duncan. kudos to mills too (unsung hero). i thought they used the hack a jordan too much and it almost cost them the game. but other than that, just a straight grind. awesome game.

God Damn these 10:30 tips. I mean, it makes sense because of the 3 hr time difference, but it just sucks that the best games are always at 10:30. Had a cup of coffee at 10:00 only to fall asleep at halftime and wake up to the post game show. What happened to Parker? The way he'd been playing though, maybe it won't hurt them much even if he's out.

the late starts and the length between games is killing me. I put the loss on Blake's shoulders

^Yup. Blake had two crucial turnovers, barnes missing all those free throws, Redick missing that three was brutal too. They had that game.

FUAAARRRKKKKK

Had bad flashbacks to the OKC series last year except it was Blake mishandling the ball this time around.

Somebody tell Timmy D it's not 2006 anymore, atleast TP can't beat father time.

Even as a Dubs fan, I have no problem with Kawhi winning DPOY over Dray. Just happy to see a perimeter player get it. Seems like so often the media just relies on league leaders in blocks and boards as a gauge of who should win, I'm glad to see a different type of player get recognized

Paul missed that 19 footer in regulation to win it. if you're the guy with all the money and you want that last minute shot...you gotta make it

should of never went to overtime

Clips choked. They had it. I'm glad to see Patty Mills join the team.

did we all watch the same game? Spurs were up 10 with 6 mins left in the 4th. Those were the only 6 mins that they outplayed the Spurs.

^^^

also, terrible terrible game planning for pelicans...

green fouls out and they settle for a fade away three pointer by gordon. davis didn't even touch the ball.

davis just didn't touch the ball enough throughout the whole game. just terrible.

lol

in order for a team to lose a 20 point lead heading into the 4th quarter, you have to really fuck it up. in my eyes that deserves a "negative nancy" analysis. there was nothing amazing (except for curry's shot) that the warriors did in the 4th quarter (and i'm a warriors fan).

1. davis didn't touch the ball enough
2. no one boxed out
3. should have fouled in the closing seconds
etc. etc.

it was a complete meltdown by the pelicans, not a "great 4th quarter" by the warriors.

Yup this post makes me a whiny faggot. Good to know from a front running lakers fan from New York.

Anyway they turned up the defense in the 4th and that's how you erase a big lead like that. I don't agree with your views at all, homers ism aside b johnson. Cheers to an exciting game

So 1 and 2 have nothing to do with dubs playing like the best defense in the league like they are ? A little short sided man since they played like shit the first 3 quarters
