Felt crazy for the Colts to take a WR with all the defensive talent on the board, but as a fan you have to love getting a guy like Dorsett. A 4 WR set of TY, Andre, Moncrief, and Dorsett is just stupid. Mix in TE's like Allen and Fleener and they can survive injuries/stay fresh all year.

The dolphins actually surprised me and made the smart pick last night. We haven't had a big WR that can go get the ball in years and this should definitely help the red zone offense. The WR corps should be very solid next season.

They have no offensive line at all tho...

Not true, their offensive line is fine, just have to stay healthy. Some young interior linemen coming up (Mewhort is a stud), Costanzo's a rock, and they have good veteran depth. D Line and safety are the need areas.
re Melvin gordon
gotta be honest I'm skeptical. guy ran behind a certified oline factory that runs a ton of power football. the best rb I can find for longevity and impact out of Wisconsin in a long history of rbs? Ron dayne and maybe aaron stecker who I didn't even know existed until now
and since I dropped that here I'll edit and say look at Fisher pick up the oline from Wisconsin for Gurley and mason to run behind and oline from Louisville

Randy Gregory came off like a fucking douche bag. typical Cowboys selection, he no shows appointments, guarantees a super bowl and sounds like an arrogant retard
6'1, 220, 4.47-4.5, what really stands out tho are his long arms, 32 3/8in. Kam Chancellor, who is 6'3, has 33in arms. Just a range-y athlete, and an absolute fucking hitter. Had 94 tackles as a redshirt sophomore.
Him as the SS in the box, with Eric Reid as the middle of the field ballhawk
draft breakdown has samford v auburn. hit the spoiler bar for a little unsolicited pontification
i love the way he gets after it and flies to the football and always shows up. actually mayocks quote about him 'always showing up in bad humour' or whatever is right on point. the question is can he improvise well enough and play solid enough to stop making mistakes and be a consistent threat because hes going to be playing against guys who get paid big sums of money to minimize their mistakes. guy plays mostly at full speed all the time though and is an awe inspiring sight in those highlight reels.
so it seems like tomsulas approach is going to be turn the 9ers into a mouth smashing unit ala what the rams are turning into. theyll probably run the ball unto death which is actually really sweet. i wish them the best of luck with that.
to be honest, not sure Tomsula has any input on player personnel decisions, my guess is it's all Baalke. This was one of the non-personality sticking points with Harbs, coach wanted more input into what groceries were bought, Trent wasn't about that life.
