Re: The 2015 NFL Thread
Classy move Chargers...The Chargers fined FS Eric Weddle $10,000 for staying on the field last Sunday to watch his daughter perform in a dance ceremony at halftime of San Diego's Week 16 win over the Dolphins.
It was impending free agent Weddle's final home game as a Charger. Weddle was "stunned" and "furious" for being fined for what the Chargers comically labeled "conduct detrimental to the team." On Monday, the Chargers placed Weddle on I.R. "against his wishes" after informing him "there is not room on the plane for him" to make the team's Week 17 trip to Denver.

the eagles are light years away from a super bowl. Kaep isn't the missing piece to anything, besides a gay photo shoot for OBJ's private collection.

Re: The 2015 NFL Thread
re eagles
this is a transition year for the offense. they'll draft a qb who can run. the irony is I think the eagles or one of the few teams in the league who can and will have a successful offense with the new spread guys like deshaun watson
re pats
do you guys think the hood allows his team to lose on purpose as perhaps in this past nyj game?

One of their biggest issues besides that o-line was the fact they lead the NFL in drops this year. Mathews is a sick #2, we have no #1's. The others are just whatever. Ertz might be our best receiver TBH.ric wrote:re eagles

hopefully they get it done next week.eternalreflection wrote:MN wins they are 3 seed, home vs Seattle.
MN loses, Seattle wins, MN@GB
MN loses, Seattle loses, MN@Wash
I think @Wash is the easiest of the 3
MN defense is healthy and they can win any of the matchups especially if the GB and Seattle teams that played yesterday show up again.

Josh Freeman starts this Sunday. In your face Romo
Hey, by the way who's Curt?
Re: The 2015 NFL Thread
yeah drops were huge for them this year but a lot of the offensive inefficacy is like for example matthews is easily the most targeted wr on the team but a lot of those targets are because bradford hucks it up to him in pressure situations and chip is probably telling him 'when you need to throw it away throw it to somebody/matthews dont just throw it out of bounds'. o line did have issues and im not entirely sold on the way they practice for reps rather than perfection and slower learning. obviously the conditioning is key but what good is all that conditioning if your guys cant execute (ie catch the ball)Philaflava wrote:One of their biggest issues besides that o-line was the fact they lead the NFL in drops this year. for the record, I was the last guy on his nuts and the first guy to rip him for getting rid of Foles, McCoy etc.alpha wrote:Chip has been fired. Kel you got your wish
I never wanted him fired, I wanted him to earn it for a larger sample.
bad move imo

Imo his worst move was his inability to resign maclin.capable_keL wrote:for the record, I was the last guy on his nuts and the first guy to rip him for getting rid of Foles, McCoy etc.alpha wrote:Chip has been fired. Kel you got your wish

Re: The 2015 NFL Thread
it wasn't Chip's inability as much as it was Maclin's loyalty for Reid.

quietest 9 game win streak in history maybe. Alex Smith will be the second best qb in the AFC playoffs...think about it.capable_keL wrote:it wasn't Chip's inability as much as it was Maclin's loyalty for Reid.

Re: The 2015 NFL Thread
ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie wanted to strip Kelly of his personnel control, Kelly resisted, and that led to the firing.

Pretty spot on from what I've been following on both levels.
Re: The 2015 NFL Thread
Not that I'd want him to take someone's job but he'd be a perfect at Texas if he goes back to college.
