I admire Lue attempting to hold everyone accountable but not sure it's going to work in Cleveland.

Well at least he'll have their respect. Blatt was screwed from the start. Lots of behind the scenes stuff in the articles out there. But one thing I read was the Bron would've had him fired a year ago if it was his choice

Agreed. But like benji said on the last page there's no one close to the Spurs and dubs. I'd add the thunder too. Not like any team is gonna make the jump this year or next. NBA kinda needs the cavs to figure it out.

I read the whole team wanted him gone, not just Lebron. When its that one sided, the coach stands no chance. Lets be honest, Blatt was hired to coach a rebuilding team. A week later, they signed lebron and traded for love. He was never the right fit for that team.

All you Eastern Timers get your after work nap in today. Don't want to be drowsy for the Curry/Kawhi show tonight.

meh the GSW vs SaS series is shaping up to be the best matchup in the last 25 years, sometimes the finals is a round earlier. Both teams look to be in the top 10 teams of the last 25 years you don't get a matchup like that very often.

That series will be great no matter when it happens, that's not what we're saying though. When 2 teams are so much better than everyone else it waters down the playoffs and makes matchups less interesting. Just a couple years ago there were so many teams that conceivably have a shot.

I'm really not complaining though, because as I said earlier they're advancing the game. Other teams have to quit playing one on one hero ball and realize NBA basketball is a different animal in 2016 (at least at the top of the league).

Duncan not playing tonight with a knee. Pop might be sitting him out DNP CD to matchup better with Gstate without having to publicly say Duncan DNP CD.

It's not like David West is a better matchup though, maybe Diaw is I guess, but that's debatable. The thing is though when they put Curry on the Kawhiian Island (they won't the whole game) and LaMarcus Athlete on Dray, the Dubs are going to be put in a position they're not used too. Danny Green on Klay too. I really wanna see how Kawhi comes out on offense tonight though. I imagine he'll see a lot of Iguodala, but he's improved a ton on O even though his #'s don't show it because of his limited minutes. So many fun matchups to watch, can't wait.

eh it's 1/2 season, McGrady had a random 30PER year but doesn't crack top 50 lists.

right now his season might be #1, but it's close given that Jordan, Lebron, Shaq were massively better defenders than Curry and have 3-4 years this good as well. Also you'd never take Curry over those 3 in their peaks in the playoffs.

Good points Eternal, but TMac doesn't belong in any discussion w/ Curry. Ya'll know I'm prone to hyperbole, but I've never seen someone play at a higher level in the regular season. He does things every night I've never seen anyone do before.

I have to see him play this way in the playoffs this year to truly crown him in my vacuum, but I've never seen someone play at a higher level in the regular season. Not in that he's the most dominant player I've seen (Shaq), but the best and the highest level player as far as skills I remember seeing in any sport (not just basketball).

As Block said, what he did to Kawhi was just stupid. Kawhi was on him most all the time he was out there and he made him look like just a guy. The team didn't even have to adjust. It didn't matter if the Spurs were knocking down shots, a historically great defense with a historically great indiv defender got straight soul crushed by a guy who got drafted after Johnny freaking Flynn. Dude's game is straight up artful.

They were definitely better defenders than Curry, but the effect that Curry has on Offense is unprecedented. He's creating spacing all over the floor right when he crosses half court. Shit is ridiculous.

Yep, also I haven't watched Curry as much as the Dubs fans on here, but I have league pass and try to watch the Dubs as much as possible and Curry's been pretty damn good on D this year when I've seen him. Can anyone confirm/deny?

He's not gonna be all defense any time, but the days of having to hide him have been gone since last year.

Myles Turner yo, biggest mystery in the league is that Vogel is still starting my Temple brethren Lavoy Allen ahead of him. Turner got compared to Aldridge coming out of Texas, the kid is going to be Sooooo much better than LaMarcus. There's nothing he can't do and he loves the game, him and Kristaps will be perennial All Stars.
