nique NEEDs to be on this list.

active, i'd go with the obvious like a.i., kobe, duncan, garnett

i'd wait a few more years to let guys such as james and mcgrady to work their way in.

it was be a slap in the face if mcgrady gets in and not dominque.

seriously

let's fucking let the retired players/veterans have some shine. LBJ and wade will have plenty of all-time status after the careers are more developed.

dennis rodman
chris mullin
connie hawkins
bernard king

and maybe grant hiil, ai, or gary payton.

This is about the only group of people that should be considered.

Grant Hill? Seriously? Steve Nash, Dirk, T-Mac? Just stop.

Why Iverson? I don't get that. He's made one Finals he's got one MVP and led the lead in scoring a bunch of times.

why iverson? oh i don't know maybe because he has more heart than any player in the history of the game. maybe because hes really lie 5'9 and is a monster on the court. maybe because he can beat anyone if he was coached right and was sane.

no one should ever question AI. that's shocking.

heres who the 10 should be, eat shit if u dont like it

duncan - no explanation needed
mcadoo
reggie - no explanation needed
kidd - triple double threat every nite, every team hes gone to he's made better, 2 finals appearences, should have 1 mvp
kobe - 3 rings, dropped 81 in a game, prolific scorer, you cant tell me there are 60 players better than him that have played the game
iverson- 1 finals appearence, mvp, scoring title after scoring title, can take over a game like its nobodys business
nique
dantley - dont wanna put him over tmac or dumars but dude put up some stats
garnett - one of great all around players off all time, yea i can count the number of games hes taken over in his career on 1 finger, but he would be the 2nd greatest role player of alltime next to scottie if he played with a superstar
lanier - this old fuck just needs to be on that list so his old ass can die in peace

If your gonna put Nique in there, you gotta put in Iverson too. AI got better ppg average over his career and he's gone farther in the playoffs than nique.

Really? We're talking about the top 60 of All-Time.

Ok, so he led the league in scoring 4 times. I'm just not really impressed with his body of work. It's not so much greater than other guys. Dantley led the league 4 times, McAdoo 4 times.

EDIT: I never said Iverson wasn't a great player. I just think there's 60 better players than him since the NBA started. I know about his heart and blah blah blah. I also know about how he "never had a serious second option." Probably because he wants to win and he wants to do it on his own.

I wouldn't put Garnett there or Grant Hill or probably Gary Payton or Jason Kidd. These are all great players during the 90s and beyond but how can we say they're better than someone like Artis Gilmore or Dantley?

tim duncan
dominique wilkins
reggie miller
joe dumars
dennis rodman
allen iverson
kevin garnett

i didn't see a lot of those guys play so i can't really say for a bunch of them. if grant hill's ankle didn't crap out on him i think he'd get considered. guys like wade, lebron, kobe, nowitzki will have to wait for the next round
