if I didn't have a top 5 waiver, I definitely would have used it on him.

I track Buxton daily. he was one of the first guys sent to the minors during Spring training... he's hitting better recently off the injury but he can't touch major league off speed stuff

it's possible he could be a june/july call up ... but right now i'd put it at 20% we see him in the bigs this year

I sent Bunz a text this morning about my oversight. I want the league to know what happened, and if you see it in your hearts to adjust it back, great. If not, well, I guess it's just Fantasy Baseball.

Yesterday evening while cooking dinner for my kids, I saw a scroll on the bottom of ESPN ticker that the Rockies closer went on the DL. I picked up my smartphone, and went to our league page and saw John Axford was available. I thought he was a FREE AGENT. Turns out, he was on WAIVERS. I picked him up, not realizing it was a WAIVER claim.

I saw the transaction this morning on the desktop league page, and realized my Fuck-up. I had the #3 waiver claim. I'm sure you guys know be by now and realize I wouldn't spend a #3 waiver claim in a keeper league on a fill in closer.

So, I asked Bunz if he could understand my oversight. Drop Axford off my team, and adjust the waiver slots so I remain #3.

I want the entire league to know about this, it was a mistake. A single Dad cooking dinner for his kids and trying to claim players off the Yahoo! App is not a good idea.

Hope you all understand. I'm ok with whatever decision is made. Just want you all to know what happened.
