Vince has only played under 73 games three times in his career. but one of them doesn't count because it was the strike shortened year of '99. The last time he played under 73 games was 6 years ago. I don't know where this injury prone label comes from.

and I was worried the deadline would come and go without the Kings making some moves.Philaflava wrote:Tired & Broke wrote:Yea Cassell just got traded to Sacramento for a bag of chips and some Wal-Mart coupons.
I understand it was a money issue, but Wilcox and Joe Smith?
are the hornets trying to miss the playoffs?

funny, but what they really got was a vote from the Celtics FO when they try to the move the team out of Sacramento. The city officials of Sacramento are meeting with the NBA about new stadium plans, but most insiders think the Kings are outta there. Same thing for the Hornets, Grizz, and Nets.Tired & Broke wrote:Yea Cassell just got traded to Sacramento for a bag of chips and some Wal-Mart coupons.
This was also to open up Marbury's roster spot on the Celtics.

McGrady done for the year; says he will have surgery
ESPN.com news services
The season has been a major disappointment for Tracy McGrady and the Houston Rockets. It might have just gotten worse.
The forward told ESPN.com's Stephen A. Smith on Tuesday that his troublesome left knee will end his season and that he will undergo microfracture surgery.
McGrady's name had come up earlier Tuesday in reported trade discussions between the Rockets and New Jersey Nets. The Nets were leery of McGrady's contract and health.
The seven-time All-Star had arthroscopic surgery on the knee last May and has been slow to recover. He missed much of Jannuary trying to get the knee back in shape and had an MRI last week to try to discover why it was still bothering him.
"The last couple of games, I've regressed," McGrady said during halftime of Wednesday's game. "I've felt pain."

The Chicago Bulls are still trying to come up with ways to land All-Star Amare Stoudemire from Phoenix, Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports is reporting.
Citing a Western Conference executive, the latest proposal involves Minnesota, and would include Kirk Hinrich moving to the Wolves.
Phoenix would receive Tyrus Thomas, who they covet, along with the expiring contracts of both Drew Gooden and Jason Collins.
Phoenix still are believed to be leaning towards keeping Stoudemire despite the latest efforts.

Hey, by the way who's Curt?
Everyone here in Houston is really sick of McGrady. At least we only have to get through one more season of his shit and will be able to spend money in the summer of '09 on at least one new guy. McGrady better enjoy the 20 mil he'll get next season because he'll never be a max contract guy again.Money Gripp wrote:McGrady done for the year; says he will have surgery
