Keeper League Jr. 2012

I say we have a vote on who the commish should be. If people have a problem with Justin then we should have a vote and see how many people actually want a change. Maybe somebody that can more easily contact everyone on this site or by email and somebody that everybody trusts holding their money and not disappearing for days at a time. Whether that be Justin or somebody else, that is for all of us to decide. I've been in this league for a few years and in the HHI league for 5 or 6 before that. Justin has been the commish in this league since I joined but just like any league or democracy, there comes a time where the people have to speak on who they want in control and this may be the time to do this if we don't want to lose some valuable members. If he's against that, then maybe the league will fold but this should be about what the members of the league want.

Maybe Justin got bored of it and doesn't share the same interest? I mean, there is no mistaking the fact over the past few years he seems less competitive than ever before. There were long gaps in between updating line-ups last year I remember. I think he finished with crazy under IP too.
I'm not saying replace him, but we should let him speak because maybe we can all agree to do what's best or maybe all those set-backs Justin had last year are no longer.

i'm shocked at how good my draft is looking: i got a few offensive starters with the god Emilio Bonifacio, Melky Cabrera, and Josh the hammer willingham
then completely re did my pitching with ian kennedy, jamie garcia, derek holland, and cy vogelsong.
i think drafting sober is the new way to go

you'll be fine, you have too much talent to worry....course, not everyone can be sitting in first place, but i'm an elite baseball mind.Tommy Bunz wrote:Off to a horrible start.
Looking to trade for a stud second baseman and starting pitcher. Open to all trades, will move Pujols or Votto for the right offer.

I'm not worried, I mean Kyle Lohse is currently the #1 pitcher in fantasy so obviously there is a lot of baseball yet to be played.
But its early enough to be able to see the flaws in my team, in that I can't count on Utley coming back at all and Wainwright isn't going to be the pitching anchor I had hoped for.

I'm obviously not dropping him and think he'll return back to his old self eventually but pitching stats aren't a good category to have to play catchup in.Gregg Popabitch wrote:I think wainwright is fine.
I also have excess 1B power to trade with Pujols and Votto and Dunn who is making last year look like a fluke so far.

jeez guys i am relaxed. You're acting like I'm pulling a Dwight and going into sell mode a month into the season.
I'm looking to trade some pieces is all, not giving up on the season. I plan on being near the top of the standings at the end of the season.
I can't do that with Omar Infante as my starting second baseman (he'll turn back into a pumpkin any day now) or without better pitching.
