That, or always signing fannies.

Apparently Alan Curbishley thought the West Ham training ground was cursed because players were always getting injured. Nothing to do with signing players like Kieron Dyer, Alan, no course not.

Req - you read the Roy Keane book yet? I'm tempted. Laughed out loud on the train when I read...
5 Voicemail turnoff

“I rang Mark Hughes. Robbie [Savage] wasn’t in the Blackburn team and I asked Mark if we could try to arrange a deal. Sparky said: ‘Yeah, yeah, he’s lost his way here but he could still do a job for you.’ Robbie’s legs were going a bit but I thought he might come up to us [at Sunderland], with his long hair, and give us a lift – the way Yorkie [Dwight Yorke] had, a big personality in the dressing room. Sparky gave me permission to give him a call. So I got Robbie’s mobile number and rang him. It went to his voicemail: ‘Hi, it’s Robbie – whazzup!’ like the Budweiser ad. I never called him back. I thought: ‘I can’t be fucking signing that.’”

Hilarious.

Did you see any of the action? Did people fight in Belgrade after the match?

No Albanian fans were allowed to come, so there was no fighting after the match.

Thousands of people celebrated in Tirana though and welcomed the team home last night.

Pretty crazy shit. Conspiracy theorists think it's related to the fact that Putin is visiting tomorrow. Like a tactical strike by the West.

LOL, Serbia is gonna get absolutely hammered for this. What the fuck was Tomovic thinking?

i fucking love it when Keane and Fergie go at each other. They're so identical it's not even funny. Both play the hard line when it comes to others yet are so sensitive when it comes to anyone criticizing them. Makes for fantastic TV.

What possessed anyone to think that would have been an appropriate match to play let alone at a site that wasn't neutral? Shameful all the way around.

Kolarov is that dude. As if I didn't have enough reasons to hate Gael Clichy.

why should serbia get hammered? It wasn't just an Albanian flag. It was a flag of Greater Albania, which includes territories of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Greece in which ethnic Albanians live.

It's like Germany flying a flag of Hitler's territorial aspirations.

Whatever it was, it was a political provocation of the worst kind. The only thing Serbia should get hammered for is not being able to stop fans from coming out onto the field and hitting players with plastic chairs.

well, to be fair, serbian fans had numerous anti-kosovo signs and flags, let alone the chanting and the booing of the albanian anthem. also they were the host, the major part of what happened was their fault.

yeah I agree with you there.

obviously, this game should have been played without a crowd if they wanted to get through it.

I quite like Allardyce to be honest. I don't recall slating him off on here. Maybe I did... Did watch some extremely boring games last season though.

Hopefully keep the momentum going, try and get safe as early as possible and maybe have a crack at the FA Cup or something.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Ched Evans story? Reckon he should be allowed to play again?

Lol whoops, those rich people are great at the footy

As far as Ched Evans goes it sounds like he "Gucci Condom" ed her, aka fucked a girl who was blacked out. The real question is how do you cheat on a gf that smoking hot? He already served years of jail time, in my book his debt to society has been repaid, and he should be allowed to play again. It is the club's decision whether they want to employ a rapist.

Liverpool look absolutely toothless. Just punting balls forward, praying.

I don't understand why BR has abandoned Coutinho. The side is begging for a #10 to create for other people.

That ending was insane.

Coutinho!!!!

Stevie G spot on in the post game, very very lucky, couldn't complain if Pool had come away with nothing.

Crazy. Love it when an outfield player goes in goal.
