i was gonna watch this game regardless but i bet on it so it's even more up in my face so

at that teardrop-hook shot bogut just dropped in to make the game 6 to 4...

and from a couple stretches i've watched of their first few games, i'm really liking harrison barnes' tangible intangibles (defensive effort and hustling...tipping rebounds that normally would've been the other teams', shit like that), and i dig the roster as a whole a lot, especially if bogut can stay healthy. i mean there is a ton of skilled players on this team, what a turnaround from the roster last year to this year

wow...harrison's 3pt shooting/nba range will definitely improve, but holy fuck at the rest of his game. he looks like he can do everything great except get his own shot off/make plays for others/shoot long range

The injury to Rush will hurt the team in the short term because the Dubs lose a great shooter and their best perimeter defender. But it will help Barnes develop a lot, because he's going to get more opportunities with less pressure, and thats going to payoff in the long run.

Bogut has looked pretty spry in limited time so far, but the team's reluctance to play him on back to back nights probably means that his ankle is worse than was originally thought. Plus its not a great sign that he's taking his shoes off during breaks on the bench. But if the light work in November results in enhanced endurance over the course of the season, I'm in favor of it. Plus Bogut's health issues and Biedrins completely falling out of the rotation means that Ezeli is getting more opportunities, and he's been pretty impressive. Especially on defense. He just spiked a DMC shot that led to a runout dunk for Barnes.

Its the young guys on the Dubs that must figure it out on the floor immediately if there is any hope of this team making the postseason.
