Other possible new rule suggestions:
Cut back the time allowed to wait on a trade offer. I think it's 10 days and that is way too long. 3-5 would be more acceptable. I hate waiting around for a decision. I may be guilty of this also and it would speed up my decision making too.
Maybe you could penalize somebody for not trying, a la female Olympic badminton.
i.e drop a players following year draft position by 1 spot for every 100 innings he is under for pitching and for every 50 combined position player games under or something. At least then the #1 pick for the following year is actually going to a team that had a shitty year and not just tanked. Although Justin could come 3rd this year without trying just because of Mike Trout.

I wish I was still in competition. Kris Medlen on 20 scoreless innings, I might keep him over Halladay.

only way you trade cliff lee is if the phillies eat a part of that contract.
you're stuck with him.

Re: Keeper League Jr. 2012
Nah no regrets. Who would we spend the money on in free agency?
There's no one better than him that will be on the market and we still have a good enough core to compete next year if we can stay healthy.
Don't forget that all salaries are going to be going up like crazy for the near future and we have a new TV deal to negotiate soon, which will probably bring in so much money that they will laugh off the luxury taxes.

Re: Keeper League Jr. 2012
Roy and Cliff had a lot of shit luck this year. Lack of offensive and defensive support and motivation to go with that. Would be a huge downer for both if the Phils don't put it all together next year.
Re: Keeper League Jr. 2012
Phils going to have to add a couple of big bats in offseason if they want to contend again. Hard to keep their only two offensive producers healthy.

Re: Keeper League Jr. 2012
From a few convos I had with him it seems as if that his desire is not there. But now I remember you having issues with me and making Nick P my personal AAA team.

yeah, no offense I'm sure you'd do a hell of a job but I think you have enough influence in this league as it is
