Clearly you're forgetting how it works.

If you draft a guy late in the draft, you only lose one draft pick ahead the next year. It rewards you for drafting smart. I drafted Jimmy Graham relatively low a couple seasons ago (I think in the ninth round) before he blew up, and as a result he's only going to cost me a sixth round pick this season. If I continue to select him as a keeper that price will increase.

I'm light at WR, probably need to make a significant trade or waiver wire pickup there, but at least I have the best TE in the business to help pick up that slack. Picked up two solid middle of the pack Qbs that can throw the rock. I'm okay at Rb, and I definitely need some cats on my bench to step up. Overall, not blown away by my draft, but I have the potential to contend.

​Keeping 3 high-end keepers hurt my drafting picks in the early rounds but I rather have arguably the best WR and QB fantasy wise. I love my core players, not overly joyed with some of my draft picks though. One was a bullshit move that really thought I was drafted Andre Brown but somehow selected Turner. Apparently I have more faith in Nicks than most people too. My bench is bullshit but like every year, I plan to scoop players frequently. I also think the DEF spot is an underrated position. The D can make a break a game for you, so I felt the need to pick up 2 top 8 D's in fantasy. My 2nd RB and TE are going to be huge gambles though.
