Feel like a lot of people are exaggerating how bad the Nets will be. Clearly nowhere near a championship contender, but I feel pretty confident penciling them in for 45 wins and a 2nd round exit. Don't feel like losing the corpse of Paul Pierce will hurt too much and I'm excited to see what Bogdanovic can do.

So much hinges on the health of perpetually injured players tho. If they could count on 80 games from their two best players, I'd be inclined to agree with you. But its much more likely that they get like 40 from Lopez, 60 from Williams and there's not a lot of depth beyond that.

OKC is in serious trouble, Durant could miss 20games and the west is stacked. If Cleveland dicks around to a 11-9 start they can still get the 1 seed or a bad case 2 seed, OKC could easily be 5-15 at 20 and in real danger of missing the playoffs

then again they only lost by 3 on the road vs the Clippers without Westbrook/Durant and the sky isn't falling yet
