I think the warriors getting KD has damaged Curry's mojo. Way too early to really tell, but I think he thrived on being THE guy despite the improbability of it. Now that Durant is clearly option 1 I'm eager to see how Steph responds over the next couple months.

Lou stays winnin'

As a Laker fan, that was our championship. This season is a success no matter what.

They're clearly figuring it out still. They got off to a shit start but killed it in the second half. Lakers got a real nice core tho.

They're playing a lot better now. All the talk has been about KAT, but it's Wiggins game that's taken the big jump this year. He's averaging 26 a game and it's legit as fuck. If you don't have a top notch defender on him, it's over. He fixed his shot and is now deadly from three. He's explosive as anyone not named Westbrook when attacking the basket off the dribble, and his post game highlighted by his baby turnaround is so, so sick. This team needs a vet PF to play alongside Towns. Dieng isn't a bad player, but this team won't win anything with him as a starter alongside their young studs. A guy like Millsap or even Derrick Favors would be a perfect fit for this team to take them to a championship level.

How the hell is Minny under .500? Team is fucking stacked. They really need a pg in a bad way though.

Ricky Rubio was benched for the final 14:42 against the Warriors on Saturday, finishing with six points, two rebounds, seven assists and one turnover in 29 minutes.
He was benched for the final 16 minutes on Friday in favor of Tyus Jones, who also closed this game out on Saturday. Coach Tom Thibodeau doesn't appear to be ditching Rubio because he's still getting heavier burn in the first half and time in the third. Thibodeau may also just be trying to get a feel for his guards. Rubio is still a hold in standard leagues despite one of his worst stretches of his career.

LOL Bandwagon? huh? please find me saying anywhere that they would "suck" , let alone not be dominant. There was no doubt in my (or any other sane persons mind) that they were gonna be a top 3 team in league. So much so, in fact, that it was in fact the exact reason I was making fun of them for losing the lakers.
Only doubt i had/have is that they can't defend the rim at all and could get exploited at times but if the shots are dropping, no ones beating them.

The dubs are very overrated right now. Good record, but wildly inconsistent and can't play slow.

Embiid will be the best player in the league soon. Shoot if he was playing a full minute load he'd be putting up historic numbers, he already is per minute. The crazy thing is that as impressive as the numbers are, he's even more impressive with the eye test. He's now my 2nd favorite NBA player to watch after Giannis and he'll probably be #1 soon. If Simmons game develops at the NBA level watch the fuck out.
