Real talk. Chicago is one of the most racially segregated cities in the country, where gentrification literally creates dividing lines in the city where poor people are pushed out of the neighborhoods that their families have lived in for decades so that they can be renovated and rented out to white people at higher rates. this forces lots of poor people to live together that wouldn't have other wise. Think of: The Wire when they tear down the towers and rival gang members are forced to share a new neighborhood, this is why there is so much violence in Chicago, cause lots and lots of poor people are forced to live together who knowing don't like each other. this only breeds an environment of crime, drugs, and gang activity, that is largely ignored by city officials/funding that would help to change the situation. and don't get my started on Chicago PD, they will give LAPD a run for their money as the most crooked bunch of fucks in the whole country.

white people ride the red line, the brown line, and the blue line. I rode the green line a handful of times to go to a horticulture class i had on the westside that was held in a greenhouse, and was literally the only white dude on the train every time. only rode the redline south past 35 St once (aka where the White Sox stadium is) and that was by mistake. the racial tension is the city is palpable, and very real. my friends from NYC comment on how "midwest" the city feels because of it.

Add on to this. Security of Education and former CPS CEO Arnold Duncan has a fuck load of blood on his hands. Asshole closed schools knowing that kids would have to cross gang lines. Despite the headlines the murder rate in Chicago overall has dropped dramatically over the past 20 years except the southwest side where it has risen and the recent rise coincides with Duncans school closing.

Hasbeens now celebrating this gold digger. How convenient. She pretty much denounced her race and said "I wish I could change the color of my skin to make you happy" but all of a sudden she is Ho Happy Jackie in the hood.

Why are you so consumed to constantly question why I am bringin her up? Captain Save A Ho afraid of a little dialog? God forbid we talk about shit on a message board. This thread could have been locked after the ruling came out.

Hold up, you willingly allow tards & trolls to run wild over P&B with no repercussions, but my legit question is cause for a ban? I mean, it's your forum and you can do whatcha wish....but that's nuts.

Tards & Trolls sounds like a good name for a p&b subforum, or a streetwear line.

I don't think this ho is nearly the worst of the basketball wives generation.
From what I've read, the recordings were in done in response to the lawsuit Mrs. Sterling filed.
I don't think she's being celebrated more than any other golddigger out there.
Like I told Gloss, Evelyn has a history of helping players self destruct.
Sterling is now a pariah, but he certainly won't be ruined financially.

This is the best bit of writing I've read on Sterling, though its not exclusively about him. It cites Bomani's take as well. Really smart shit on parsing the types of racism that exists, and what is offensive and harmful about it:
