Word. I still think Campbell should be the starter, but Brennan's looking like a very good 2nd stringer (fuck Collins, lol).Orale Holmes wrote:He did look really good tonight. I want to see him against the 1st team though. Its amazing what blocking can do for a QB

YES! Icesickle speaketh the trutheth.Icesickle wrote:Still can't believe Colt Brennan dropped to the 7th round. Dude is easily a 2nd-3rd round QB. Looked great, albeit against 3rd stringers.
ABsolute domination. Zorn is the next coming of Bill Walsh. Chris Horton and Rob Jackson were late round GEMS. Durant Brooks will REVOLUTIONIZE punting. Tony Romo is a faygg.

I'm sorry, but not even Gregg "the brown bomba" Popabitch can drop a 123766712321783.890301409 QB rating playing against a team consisting of Shyste502, ObeseJesus, and Arlene.CaPaBLe_KeL wrote:good god, can we at least conceal the gayness until colt plays a real NFL snap against a real defense and not a gang of scrubs that will be cut? he fell to the 7th round for a reason

damn, this doesn't look good for Alex Smith
Coach Mike Nolan announced Wednesday that J.T. O'Sullivan will start the 49ers' preseason opener.
He's expected to play at least the first quarter and will be followed by Alex Smith and Shaun Hill. Mike Nolan "insists" the rotation isn't a pecking order, but it's clear O'Sullivan is being taking seriously as a potential starter. Which, on his eighth team, is hard to believe. The order may change in preseason game two, but Hill especially may be seeing his chance slip away.

aaron rodgers searching for a new agent
Posted by Mike Florio on August 8, 2008, 10:57 a.m.
Multiple sources tell us that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has parted ways with agent Mike Sullivan of Octagon.
He has yet to hire a new agent, as we understand the situation currently.
Weגre assuming that Rodgers filed the appropriate paperwork to terminate the relationship before the Brett Favre saga was finally resolved. Given the NFLPAגs five-day waiting period that prevents a new agent from signing Rodgers, thereגs a chance that Rodgers might change his mind, now that Favre is out of Green Bay.
Then again, Rodgers still might be smarting about a rookie contract with so much money tied to actually playing. Rodgers is making only $680,000 in 2008, but can trigger escalators that will bump up his pay in 2009, the final year of his contract. He has lost millions by sitting behind Favre for three seasons.
Itגs also possible that Rodgers directed Sullivan to get a new contract once Rodgers became the starter, and that Rodgers wasnגt happy with the progress.
Or maybe Rodgers noticed that Sullivan was one of the people chanting גBring Brett Backג at practice on Tuesday. (Weגre kidding.)
If Rodgers doesnגt stay with Octagon, look for him to possibly consider David Dunn of Athletes First. Itגs also likely that Tom Condon of CAA will make a run at Rodgers.
