ATL time. I think besides them only other real shot is Houston if they are able to trade Asik and some other contracts.

Underrated detail: Kidd will be immune to any coach-killer moves from Deron because he invented them.

Marcus Thompson who covers the Dubs out here is the same way. Its fucking obnoxious to follow of Twitter, and have my TL filled with incessant praise of Christian rappers. I had to unfollow Broussard, largely because he's full of shit, but the Christian nonsense was the nail in the coffin.

Tweak enjoyed watching Al Attles as Warriors player coach back in 70-71.

Y! Sources: Denver's Andre Iguodala has decided to opt-out of final year of contract and will enter free agency
Just a formality at this point. If a contender gets him could be huge. Be interesting how much $ he gets.

What contenders have the cap space?

I can't believe he's leaving 17 mill on the table? Is it 17 mill?

This is crazy.

Yea. Guess he figures he needs to get new deal done now so it will include next year and not wait another year and risk having his new deal be influenced by decline/injury.

I was wondering who had space myself. Spurs might depending what they do with Splitter/Ginobili. Houston/Atl/Dallas do depending what happens. Can't think of anyone else. Could also just resign with Nuggets.

During the most recent BS Report, Marc Stein said that Doc Rivers is regarded across the league as the best coach, second only to Popp.

Celtics in trade talks to send Doc Rivers, Kevin Garnett to Clippers

The Boston Celtics are deep in discussions with the Los Angeles Clippers on a blockbuster deal to send coach Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett to Los Angeles, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The final hurdle of a deal centers on the Clippers' willingness to include guard Eric Bledsoe into a trade package with Boston, sources said.

The Celtics would like to land Clippers point guard Eric Bledsoe. (USA Today Sports)Boston and Los Angeles are discussing a package that will send DeAndre Jordan and two first-round picks to the Celtics for Garnett and the right to hire Rivers as coach, sources said.

Garnett will waive his no-trade clause to go to the Clippers, where he'll be reunited with Rivers. Celtics assistant Ty Lue also will likely join them in Los Angeles, sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Clippers owner Donald Sterling is prepared to pay Rivers in the neighborhood of the $7 million annual salary he currently holds with the Celtics, front office sources said. Rivers has three years and $21 million left on his Boston deal.

If a deal is agreed upon, Rivers will likely speak to Chris Paul immediately on his willingness to re-signing with Los Angeles, sources said.

Rivers can't be part of a player transaction, but the inclusion of the draft picks – and perhaps Bledsoe – would allow Boston to free him of his contractual obligations.

The Celtics and Rivers want a finality to these talks, and there's pressure to complete a deal in the next two days or walk away completely, sources said.

That would be great for indy, but I have to admit, after Collison, back up pgs who do great in limited time scare me.

that's the whole point, agony. the clippers are trying to do this deal in order to retain cp3 and then move bledsoe to get another piece to complement cp3 (and kg and possibly pierce)

Cs better be getting back Bledsoe. Doc Rivers is a top 5 coach at worst and KG is the exact guy Blake Griffin needs. I also really hate both coaching canidates I am hearing for Cs. Del Negro just plain sucks and Lawrence Franks did not do good job at all with rookies/young players when he was coaching Pistons.

And this would probably make CP3 resign. Don't C's have all the power?

Collison was a beast his rookie year after CP3 got hurt. Seemed like no one in NBA could stay in front of him. In starts (37 games) he avg 18.8, 9.1 assists, while shooting .485/.429. He did have TO problem, was liability on D, and was playing on horrible team, so there was red flags, but he looked good to me.

Bledsoe's handle does have me worried if he gets a staring pg job somewhere.

When Dad used to gather everyone up, throw us in the car and drive to the Sheraton that would qualify as a vacation. Not an abduction. Fuckin kids these days are such pussies.
