I'm saying, drop LeBron into a 1987 league (100.8 pace, 109.9 fucking points a fucking game) and he'd have a legit shot at 30 points and 10 assists per game, and once in that late 80s era he could maybe have pulled an Oscar. Even 95 (101.4 PPG on a 92.9 pace) he would have put up monster numbers. Defences were so fucking primitive in that era, and shit like the Jordan rules and the sheer amount of trash talk would just make LeBron more aggressive. Most attempts to get inside his head or bump him around have failed, and I think he would trash Rodman (though peak LeBron, which we may not have seen yet, against peak Pippen would be something else to watch. Also worth noting I had a Rodman Bad Boys jersey growing up and loved that motherfucker as a youngster).
Also, he would have been a monster on D. Not having to worry about offenses taking advantage of the three point shot, giving him the opportunity to hand check and defend iso-ball would probably let him break the game.
Let's face it, he's a physical mutant who would thrive in any era, and arguably this era is less condusive to his skills than ones that were more fast-break oriented or where you could take entire possessions off to watch someone else iso or do a foreverlong post possession.
