wow is this real life? deron williams laterally/springs looks awesome compared to last year and the year before that. he actually took off from the baseline before the paint and was in the air long enough to hit an acrobatic reverse lay-up past 2 defenders on the other side

and he was moving side-to-side with jennings all night, VERY impressive

Didn't get to watch the game tonight but hopefully his ankle problems are finally behind him. His stat line didn't look that impressive when I checked the score but if he has that bounce in his step back it's gonna mean so much to the Nets.

Also, Joe Johnson is amazing. Also also, KG with 18 points and 14 boards.

Now if only Brook Lopez could stay healthy for more than 5 minutes.

Yeah. I forget that the Pelicans have Asik, which is a more natural matchup for Gasol. But God damn, the Pelicans offense is really stagnant. I understand the Grizzlies are a tough defense that are gonna make a lot of good teams look bad on any night. But New Orleans doesnt seem to have any clear plan. All night they've settled for long jumpers, despite not having many good shooters and they aren't doing anything creative to get The Brow good looks. They scored 33 points in the first half. Memphis only scored 40. But this flat offense makes scoring more than 10 in a quarter feel damn near impossible.

I agree 100%. I don't know how much is on Monty Williams not putting them in position to succeed, but their ball handlers look terrible.
