Yeah ryan howards homer was the shit. Easily a top 10 slugger of the past 5 years for the phillies.

What's this picture from?

We do suck though. Five losses in a row. Good thing the Mets suck too.
We need a stop from Hamels today.

Not sure where that pic is from. Maybe Philly mag? If that was a poster I'd hang it in my room like I was 12 again.

Hamels is throwing gems and we can't even give him support.

You been watching The Pen? I was a little disappointed by the first episode, as it was more a highlights show than a reality show, second episode last night was pretty good. I would fuck the shit out of Romero's wife.

I didn't know there were multiple episodes. Yeah the first one looked like the Phillies WS DVD. I don't even think I finished it. Now I gotta check out Ep 2.

Mauer won't hit .400. They said the same about Tony gwynn and George brett who were both all star top tier hitters. Just another age old healine to move magazines.

Mauer might bat higher but Pujols has more talent in his right elbow than Mauers entire body.

Gwynn would have made it in '94 if not for the strike, yo.

Baseball is a completely different game now though compared to back in the day, with the way bullpens are specialized. Hitting .375 now is probably harder to do than hitting .400 in the 20's.

Phillies really wasted a great pitching performance from Blanton tonight (10 K's!).

Jimmy Rollins really needs to be benched at this point. He can't hit for shit and made a lazy play today that ended up costing us 5 runs.

What up Pendi...I was at Citi Field for my first game a couple of weeks ago. I went with my boss and we took a client to the game and got seats in section 113...Fucking awesome seats.

I have a bunch of pics I'll post up soon.

Anyway, I don't see myself making it up to NY again this season...maybe next year.

Enjoy the game...the stadium is beautiful. Go Mets!
