Damn. Thats a pretty good lineup to do that to as well.
Really impressive that he has a no-hitter and a perfect game now even though he doesn't have "no-hit" stuff.

Is Buerhle better than we think he is? NO way he is as good as his numbers right? Fuck me, Kel is gonna runaway with fantasy baseball.

i think at least part of his effectiveness has to correlate with his fast pitch rate

 yeah i caught that, also. Watching him year after year after year i still don't really understand it. Someone called him 'the next Jamie Moyer' - i don't disagree and i wouldn't be mad at that.

Amazing. Listened to the last 3 innings on the radio nervous as hell. The fact that he has thrown another no-hitter amazes me because he is a ground ball pitcher. I haven't seen it yet, but I gues DeWayne Wise robbed a homerun. Either way.... fellow White Sox fans.

In case you didn't know already, Mark B. is the shit.

And he's retiring this season.

His contract is up in 2011. He said he would retire then. I doubt it, but he is the type of guy who might.

Just trying put this game into perspective...and how improbable this game really was.

-The White Sox are a terrible defensive team. And that is when we have starters in. Our backup catcher (Castro) was playing. Our 3rd baseman (Beckham) is a rookie who is playing out of position. Our error prone SS (Ramirez) is playing shortstop for the first time this year. Our 2nd baseman (Getz) is a rookie. Backup 1st baseman (Fields) was in. Our left fielder (Quentin) is coming off an injury to his foot . Our CF (Podsednik) can't really play center. And Jermaine Dye, while servicable, is old and slow. US Cellular field is a hitters park. The Rays are a good hitting team. Weather is perfect during the game.

So despite all that, he throws a perfect game. In 2 hours and 3 minutes. Amazing.

   @ a perfect game sitting on the bunch.

Kel, 5 out of his last 6 starts were quality starts yo.

Also, that trade last year was garbage and I stand by that statement. Regardless though I gotta give you some credit, your team is pretty fucking awesome this year.
Dick.

That really was one of the most clutch plays I have ever seen. You would call bullshit if that happened in a movie, especially if it was done by a guy who was on the bench until that moment.

Cash.

Anderson for Kotsay is great too.

Now we can move Fields or Wise in a bigger move.
