Ray Lewis should be on the top 5 easily.

No love for Alan Faneca? Pro Bowl almost every year of his career.

Champ Bailey is overrated. He had two really good seasons, but other than that he is pretty average.

I don't like to complain about these type of lists, but the order is just ridicolous
holt over moss?
Jason Taylor being the first defesive player??????????
I don't think Big Ben should be on there, he has only been in the league 5 years.

he backed his way into one of them. Although i would still put him where hes at.
Taylor at 5 is a joke. Hes not even top 15.
Moss definitly should be in the top 5.

He sucked in the super bowl, but the run they made in the playoffs was all him. He was amazing that playoffs, but he sucked in the super bowl.

Champ has more tackles and more picks than Deion did at this point in his career. He is one of the best cover corners of all-time and hands down one of the best defensive players this decade. How the FUCK is he overrated, much less AVERAGE? You have got to be fucking kidding me.

His stats are very inconsistent. He had those two big years that inflate what he has done in the past decade. The rest of the years he has been average.

You are in the camp that thinks Deion was the greatest thing since sliced bread so I understand why you think Champ Bailey is so great.

people say big ben 'backed into' his first sb win, but if not for that hail mary type heave to hines ward from the 50 yard line or so post-scramble, maybe that game turns out differently

I'm not. All of his stats are average other than those couple years where he had high numbers.

word the fuck up.

if your CB is getting a lot of INTs, it's because QBs are comfortable throwing in his direction.

Randy Moss got hosed.

Jason Taylor over Michael Strahan? lol. Michael Strahan is the best 2 way defensive end of this decade. and he holds the single season sack record*. This is lol worthy.

Ray Lewis got hosed. So did Jonathan Ogden. Ogden is the best Offensive Tackle of this decade imo.

even though Marshall Faulk only had 3 elite years in the 2000's, I'd include him. He is the best RB i've ever seen.

Simeon Rice and Jason Taylor should be ranked together. Champ Baily is a healthy Chris Mccallister.

Do you think Dilfer could have scored a touchdown on that last drive in last years super bowl? Dude might not be amazing all the time, but I would rather have him taking snaps than 29 other qb's in the league. He also did this with a shitty offensive line while he was running for his life most of the time.

Nmandi is by far the best CB in the game...but in a year from now we'll all be talking about Alphonso Smith.

I am going on record to say that Trent Dilfer could never make that pass to Santonio Holmes for the touchdown.

So you are saying that Trent Dilfer is just as good a QB as Ben Roethliberger.

No, it's just that the super bowl argument is meaningless because it's a team accomplishment.

Dan Marino ain't got no rings, correct?

did you guys watch steeler games last year, was awful

the steelers won the title because they had the best defense, and just barely enough offense to get the job done, exactly the same build as the Ravens title team, if  was better it sure wasn't by much, but omg he led a game winning drive that means he didn't suck afterall

maybe it was a fluke but if I was a pittsburg fan I'd be very scared that he's never going to be good again and since he won 2titles they'd stick with him for the next 10yrs anyway

I am not really into the super bowl thing either, but saying Dilfer is better than Roethlisberger is just ridiculous.
eternalreflection wrote:did you guys watch steeler games last year, was awful
I did watch every Steeler game. And here is the reason that people hate on Roethlisberger:

1. Atrocious Offensive line: Put most quarterbacks behind that line and they wouldn't be able to do shit.

2. Change in running game Philosophy: No more fullback, the line sucks, and willie parker isn't going to run people over.

3. He holds onto the ball too long: sometimes it ends up being an amazing play, but that is 1 out of 10. Most of the time it ends up being a sack or an interception. This is why I don't like him. I think his ball management isn't very good at times.

I would like to see any of those fags from Chicago on the Steelers and be as successful as Roethlisberger. Including that faggot Cutler.
