Wait, why are the Yankees included in this poll?

I'm rooting for the Twins, they remind me of the '07 Phillies a bit. Lots of good character guys, they play scrappy, questionable starting pitching...

I think the Tigers probably going to win though, mainly because Porcello has been pitching better than Baker recently.

tigers are awful on the road and worse at the metrodome. porcello could be the special type of pitcher that comes up huge in a spot like this, though.

hate to say it but i think the twins win, they have all the momentum.

go tigers though!

162 games and they still can't figure out who belongs in the playoffs? Gimme a break.

Reports: MLB looking at 387 game season with best of 15 tie-breaker for Wild Card spot.

It'll be a good series.

But i'd be lying if I said the Yankees shouldn't (not saying they will) beat this team in 4 games.

I refuse to overlook the first round after 06 and 07.

The Yankees should have obliterated both of those teams.

Really insanely good game. Some thoughts:

Gardenhire is seriously a fucking idiot for having Kubel bunt against a righthanded pitcher in the ninth. Literally made me scream at my TV. That's basically like if the Cardinals had Pujols lay down a sacrifice bunt so Skip Schumaker can hit. Retarded. Kubel has the highest OPS against righthanded pitching in the entire AL this year.
Orlando Cabrera might be tied with Jorge Cantu for the ugliest player in baseball.
That tag up by Casilla was horrible. So was that dive by Raburn. Pretty cool that they both got redeem themselves later.
Lots of great defense...the Inge dive, the Granderson dive, the Punto throw to home.

Definitely one of the better games I've seen this year.
Twins are probably gonna get romped in the next round, but I'll be rooting for them. They have Brian Duensing as their game one starter though. :copy:

Speaking of Orlando Cabrera, is it me or does he get traded to a team that makes a late run almost every single year?
