Yankee Stadium

Post by Philaflava »

Okay, never actually been inside. I'd like to go April 30 or May 1 (vs. White Sox).

Any suggestions on a good relatively inexpensive seat? Anyone in NY wanna join us? It'll probably be Ripweblo, Trub320 and myself.

buy me a ticket. i'll meet you guys there and pay you the money.

as for seats, you need to tell me what you think is relatively inexpensive.

Well if I'm being completely honest, I give a shit about the game. I care more about exploring the stadium because I hear it's amazing from all angles.

I'll talk to Trevor (Trub) and maybe we'll pick up some tickets. Where is the best place to get them Stubhub?

easy to get to - went last year - sat left field bleachers - hot sunny fucking day against the rays - the (mohegan?) open bar/restaurant area in center was great. that's me for not remembering the name of that shit.

outfield halls have a bathroom, then beer, then bathroom, then beer, then bathroom, then beer stand motif thing going on repeat which is nice. no line to pee or buy beer.

weird people outside with no tickets.

I am 50/50 on heading up for that weekend too. Gonna either pull the trigger or not this week depending on how much work I can get done.

So they finally have beer in the bleachers or what? When I was in college, the only affordable tickets (bleachers) didn't sell any beer. Twas horrible. Then again, $8 bud lights...

Beer at Yankee Stadium, more

Amstel Light, Bass, Beck's, Blue Moon, Corona, Heineken (and Light), Hoegaarden, Peroni, Stella, Yuenglin, Brooklyn Lager: $8.50, and they pour the bottle into a plastic cup, after they're done talking to their co-worker, counting money, calling a friend, getting a pedicure.
