when I signed up for the league, I think on the first day yahoo opened up registration, that was the latest date available.

shrug.

the first game is on the 28th, so it's about 2 weeks before that.
not terrible.

my friend who replaced don zimmer's revenge is drafting from florida on vacation. bad timing, but he had enough notice to sort it out and carve out some time

Looks like Justin has it straightened out now and the keepers are no longer in the player pool.
We good.

They are still showing in my list. Maybe I have to reset my rankings or something?

You shouldn't.
Just go to the players tab and make sure the drop box is set to "All Available Players" and it shows all the players left in the pool

Now someone just mass email Justin's home address so everyone can deliver the cash in person. Although I still don't know the money breakdown for certain. I thought it was 180 80 20, but he only paid me 60 last year for 2nd place. I facebook'd about it but got no answer.

i say we all should pay no later than the first week of april. no joke it took a lot to get paid last year. if we all pay its easier on justin and the winner can get paid immediately after the season ends, not 6 weeks.

2B - Ian Kinsler
SS - Derek Jeter
3B - David Wright
OF - Josh Hamilton
OF - Jacoby Ellsbury
OF - Yoenis Cespedes
Util - Nick Markakis

BN - David Freese (3B)
BN - John Mayberry (1B/OF)
BN - Domonic Brown (OF)
BN - Alfonso Soriano (OF)
BN - Ruben Tejada (2B/SS)

SP - Justin Verlander
SP - Chris Carpenter
SP - Ricky Romero

Really liked the Mayberry pick. You are going to need him to do work though as your other outfielders (brown, cespedes, soriano) can't be relied on.
Romero was a good pickup for your team, was bummed I couldn't figure a way to keep him. It's a crapshoot if you're going to get anything out of Liriano, Bailey and Volquez though.
You're in good position to defend your title

my squad:

C - Mike Napoli
1B - Albert Pujols
2B - Chase Utley
SS - Elvis Andrus
3B - Kevin Youkilis
OF - Carl Crawford
OF - Jayson Werth
OF - Alex Gordon
Util - Joey Votto

B - Adam Dunn
B - Matt Joyce
B - Allen Craig
B - Travis Snider

P - Adam Wainwright
P - Matt Moore
P - Jordan Zimmerman
P - Tim Hudson
P - Ted Lilly
P - Scott Baker
P - Alexi Ugando
P - Jarrod Parker

RP - Sergio Santos
RP - Addison Reed
RP - Francisco Cordero
RP - Joey Devine

Pretty happy with my team/draft. Was really hoping that Kennedy or Darvish would make it to the 4th pick (fuck you kel) but Zimmerman is a decent consolation prize. My pitching should be reliable but lacks upside/strikeout potential, really going to need Moore to fuck shit up and Wainwright to return to ace status.
My hitting will be amazing as long as everyone can stay healthy and players like Werth & Crawford can bounce back. Really happy with my bench, Joyce has upside and Dunn could be a steal if he isn't done.

Whore Island

C - Y Molina
1B - B Butler
2B - Cano
SS - A Cabrera
3B - Moustakas
OF - Shin Choo
OF - C Young
OF - Beltran
DH - Big Papi

BN - A Rios
BN - G Sanchez
BN - J Bay
BN - S Rodriguez
BN - Rizzo
BN - V Mart

SP - Gio
SP - Johan
SP - Hellickson
SP - Garza
SP - Danks
SP - Pomeranz
SP - B Anderson

RP - F Francisco
RP - B Myers
RP - J Johnson

Team is full of a bunch of faggots. Bay, Molina, and Rios can all fist fuck each other.

Go Whores!

Thanks. I was planning on drafting Mayberry all along but was just pushing my luck until I felt he wouldn't be on the boards any longer.

Even if he repeats last year I'll be find because I kinda whored up on the OF. If anything I'll just move Markakis in the spot as a serviceable 3rd OF option.

I like Bailey a lot. Actually I like most of the Reds pitchers and I think Liriano is fully healthy and could be nice. Volquez is the one I'm excited about. He too is healthy and is now at PETCO.

Best line-up in all of the league. I still cringe at the fact Nick traded you Pujols. It will go down as the worst trade in fantasy history. What did he get in return Chipper Jones and Roy Oswalt?

The Dunn gamble is worth it and I really think Snider becomes another Adam Lind. Your SP is very solid too but never call Freese a bum when you go ahead and draft Craig.

You got a lot of buy low/high risk guys and I like that. You unzipped your pants and just let your nuts hang all draft. I think your team maybe a combo of being little too inexperienced and too old to compete so I would focus on trading everyone minus the KC boys.

Really think your bench is going to turn out to be solid options and recent Gio pick up was stellar.
