you are 100%. but nothing is out of bounds with coach petersen. nobody is unbeatable given time. this is the best class of kids the uw has had in like 15ish yrs when we were top 15 every year. so we're in this game right here.

Texas never should have abandoned Charlie strong. Tom Herman ok. I get you. sure. but does this look any different in terms of a first year coach coming in and not having the opportunity to build a foundation?

strong getting fired is prolly more about race than anything else. I mean obv Herman can coach some football and the terps are better than people think but I mean come on mang.

it's one game. give herman time to build the foundation.
ric wrote:strong getting fired is prolly more about race than anything else.
no, it was about kansas. without that loss strong likely stays.

@jeffresh
indeed.
strong was getting shit literally all year long though from gm 1 on. and before. they never gave him a real chance.

word. so many errant throws from Modd and having his throwing ability be that much of something they needed to have. those are the most important aspects that make that come back a thing in my view.

schiano is new d coordinator at Tosu
they are running a ton of spot drop zone just like the buccaneers just like Rutgers prolly. so in sum. they are easier to beat than they should be.

lulz at that pass interfere call. that's ridiculous.

edit
you see that speed option look to Kyler Murray? hilarious. he throws it short to the back who reads the guy and pitches it back to qb. that's fucking hilarious/dope. that's the fucking future right there. this mf is faster than most wrs in the nfl. looking forward to next season already

what usc doing on offense seems basic but cool as far as I have been able to tell. one interesting thing they are doing is their oline splits are much bigger than say your typical zone team (say 6 inches) but a little smaller than say your typical leach air raid type team (2.5-3 ft). so what this has been doing is that the run reads for the rbs are cleaner because the defenders feel like they have to commit and once they do there's automatically a huge void even if the individual olinemen aren't really "making" huge holes per se. the hole already exists basically and you're asking your defenders to cover large swaths of ground. this is why leach has been trying to incorporate more run into his shit. with all the theory of messing with the defs numbers the negotiation of space is hard to defend too.

im guessing that you beat this by
1) getting off blocks
2) if you can use some clever technique to angle just right you can own certain demarcations of space
3) if the def is coordinated enough and executes well enough you'd be able to own a lot of the field or at least create certain dead zones

The fact that fsu is getting rid of jimbo is some ultimate bs. I mean we all saw francois go down game 1 right? And they were in that game.

Bama as of right now somehow not in the top 4. Hilarious. The offensive coordination has been off all season but let's not act like that they can't beat anybody in the country

Ucf ad puts up national championship banner at the school

Cites horrible playoff system. Hahaha hahaha ha I mean seriously this is real entertainment
"There should be change," White said. "It's not an equitable system. It's not equitable in terms of how we do the rankings. The BCS era was much more accurate for how teams were ranked, more objective, and I don't think the playoff is adequate to determine a true national champion. You can't subjectively pick only four teams. I think you need to come up with some more objective rankings, which we already had in place with the BCS, that allowed computers to have a voice, that allowed the media to have a voice, and the coaches' poll to have a voice so it was a combination of objectivity and subjectivity.
I mean am I just the biggest motherfucking genius of all time? And is this ad not the sweetest dude of all time just putting up a championship banner at ucf because they beat auburn who beat Bama and uga? I love this guy.

So UCF is definitely the best team in FL now.

FSU is complete shit. UF and Miami don't look great either.
