Awesome El Clasico.

Red for Ramos, Messi hattrick, People whining, dodgy penalties, Di Maria once again outperforming his expensive friends. This game had it all.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

I didn't feel like any of the 3 were penalties.

So much fun to see Arsenal get their shit pushed in and Spurs pick up three points late. It's very unlikely they catch them, but they're not out of it either the way Arsenal are playing right now.

Eriksen is such a G. Why he couldn't get time when AVB was manager is beyond me. Soldado looked interested for once, not sure what to make of that if anything.

I know people are doubting Liverpool can win it, but there isn't a more explosive club. They're a joy to watch barring their flopping, and Suarez is a top three or four in the worlder right now. I hope they win it.

Has this ever been used here before?

Don't care about the rest of Arsenal's schedule as long as they finish in the Top 4 because that's all they're playing for and have been since the Liverpool massacre.

In slightly related news, Spurs new(?) kit is highly representative of their current club: streaks of piss. That doesn't really make sense but Spurs are piss. So there.

When Pool dominated at Old Trafford I had a lot of respect for the way the United fans rallied and stayed loud despite the result...

...but after today, singing chants at a manager who brought you 2 decades of success was a total disgrace.

Lulz. Swansea might have stolen it at the end if the ref didn't blow the whistle in the middle of a breakaway. Still a joy to watch Arse piss it away at the end.

KEEP HOPE ALIVE!

^ Had a feeling that was probably made up. Not seen them this season, but heard that the crowd is still pretty noisy/positive.

The Guardian wrote:Manchester United supporters vented their anger at the former manager Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of the shambolic 3-0 derby defeat to Manchester City at Old Trafford. In the first signs of open revolt at David Moyes, fans furiously questioned Ferguson's decision to appoint the Scot as his replacement.
What makes you guys say it is made up? I mean if it was only on say bleacherreport I could understand questioning it, but I tend to believe stuff I read on theguardian.

lol, you're in for a shock.

The Guardian are just as tabloidy and sensationalist as the red tops when it comes to football.

i have yet to see one lick of evidence that this actually happened. No first hand report, no primary accounts, nothing. The papers are making it out like fans accosted Fergie and shouted abuse at him, yet there have been absolutely no specifics. Just this vague "vented their anger" sentence. The closest I could get to details is the Independent story, which says that a few fans near the directors box voiced their concerns to Fergie about the current regime. That's not "verbal abuse." That's not Man Utd fans "turning" on Fergie en masse.

Sensationalist shite to sell papers and get clicks.

Fair enough. I assumed it was a select few drunk idiots after the game, but like you said...couldn't find any videos on YouTube.

Not Fergie but not too hard to imagine him getting yelled at when things like this are happening.

Yelling at a guy who had no allegiance to Man Utd 9 months ago and the club's greatest icon are two very, very different things.

in other news, Arsenal fans set to despise City for at least another 3 years: http://www.theguardian.com/football/201 ... CMP=twt_gu

Turgid game against a ten man Hull last night. Allardyce booed at the final whistle despite the win, which was pretty weird, although I do recall that happening to Zola before.

Top of the table!

...granted only by 2 points on Chelsea, and 4 on City who have two games in hand.

But still, feels good man.

LOL@Guardiola in the post-match.

With the exception of Mourinho's Porto team, has there ever been a side that dived, cheated and generally acted like bloated vaginas as much as Pep's Barca side?
