Love the Freeman pick as your back-up and your RB core too. Actually the whole squad looks nice, you must play with a bunch of faggots because Graham is my #1 TE slightly over Gronk this year.

It's a league I'm in at work. Usually end up in the money every year. These fools love their QBs. Top 5 picks were Rodgers, Foster, Rice, Brees, Calvin.

I think having Graham at TE will help balance out my not so sexy WR's.

Damn. I would love to be in that league. Besides that keeper we are doing I am in one other 12 team league drafting next Sunday. I am sure the people with top picks are going to do something retarded, but I pick 9th so I won't be able to come up off there mistakes.

You get McCoy, Graham, AP in that order?

Yep. Do I start AP as my RB2 from week 1 or plug in JStew or Cedric until AP shows he has it again?

I have the first pick in my 10 team work league (non-ppr)

QBs get 6 pts per td, -3 per int, everything else is standard

QB
WR
WR
RB
RB
TE
W/R/T

It's gotta be Rodgers #1, right?

If no new bad news comes out I would stick with AP.. Mostly cause I don't trust J Stewart too much and Benson vs. SF.

Foster still. Can't say who is #1 between Brady/Brees/Rodgers, and Stafford/Newton pretty close by. After Foster there is pretty big drop down IMO.

I think you know exactly what you are getting with Foster. Rice is consistent but will not be getting as much TDs and is just not as good a RB as Foster or have the type of line Foster has. If they both stay healthy I don't think Rice will be that close to Foster in points. Shady can score up there with Foster, but that whole offense is so injury prone and they help take pressure off him a lot.

With that said, Shady and Rice is 2nd tier to my by a lot. 3rd tier is huge step down, and I don't see how those 3 are not the first 3 picks in every draft unless it has some weird rules.

depends how knowledgable the other owners are you could probably draft Rodgers and flip him for a #1RB and a nice wideout.

@naturalborn
ds get 20 points to start with in my league. if you look at their schedules i can pretty much switch them every other week and maximize my shit every week as well as the hoard factor of taking 2 good ds off the board which may also work for some trade bait if i really need it. i got them in the 10th and 11th rds (out of 13) so im extra cool with it

For a $250 12 team league with standard yahoo rules. I had the 12th pick, so I went Stafford/Graham back-to-back. This is the first time that I've ever chosen a tight end so high in a draft, but I look at Graham like he's a WR1. I got a little rookie-happy this year with the RBs (Richardson, Martin, Wilson, Pead). Hell, even Leshoure is basically a rookie. At least I'll have Mendenhall coming back in Week 5 or thereabouts. I'll also have Taiwan Jones when McFadden inevitably gets injured.

Starters:
QB: Matthew Stafford
WR: Greg Jennings
WR: Vincent Jackson
WR: Robert Meachem
RB: Trent Richardson
RB: Doug Martin
TE: Jimmy Graham
K: Matt Prater
DEF: NYJ

Bench:
QB: Matt Schaub
WR: Kenny Britt
WR: Kendall Wright
WR: Keshawn Martin
RB: David Wilson
RB: Rashard Mendenhall
RB: Mikel Leshoure
RB: Isaiah Pead
RB: Taiwan Jones
RB: Javon Ringer
TE: Tony Moeaki

12 Team
1/2 PPR

QB - Eli, Rivers
RB - CJ2K, Forte, McGahee, Bush, Vereen
WR - Nicks, Welker, Meachum, Moss, Holmes, Amendola, Cobb
TE - Davis
D - NYG
K - Gould

Pretty fucking happy with this team. Drafting Moss and Santonio could bite me in the ass though when it comes to WR depth.

Yep, and I hope I didn't flush that money down the toilet by focusing on rookie RBs. That wasn't even my intention, but by the time the 12th pick rolled around, Foster, Rice, McCoy, Johnson, and McFadden were all off the board. My next pick after going back-to-back was #36, and by then, Murray, Lynch, Turner, F. Jackson, etc were all gone.

Rookie RBs traditionally disappoint, but Richardson and Martin are clear-cut starters, and Wilson will be getting plenty of action alongside Bradshaw, so this year could be different. I keep trying to convince myself of that, anyway.

From stawberry league/thread
QB: Schaub
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Andre Johnson
wR: Jordy Nelson
RB: J Charles
RB: Ingram
TE: Hernandez
W/R/T: Hillis
k: Hanson
d: Bills

Bench:
CJ Spiller
Deangelo Williams
Russell Wilson
Kendall Wright
Evan Royster
Keshawn Martin

I dont like my RBs at all past Charles, but I think a good chance one of RB on my bench can step up pretty soon.
I too waited too long to pull the trigger on a couple of RBs..
