In fairness, only like 5 folks are going to Piston home games anymore, so the collateral damage has been minimal

Bruh, from this story about how a nutritionist is changing the Lakers diet...
With Howard, the intervention began where it does with most athletes (and non-athletes, for that matter) who need to change their diets. It began with sugar. It turned out that Howard was consuming the equivalent of 24 Hershey bars a day in the form of candy and soda -- not to mention the additional sugar his body was making out of all the empty starches he was eating.
:ohhh:

I don't get how the athletes who make huge amounts of money do dumb stuff like that. You have enough money to have a personal cook and a nutritionist. Considering you are making all your money off your athletic skill you would think it would be their priority to keep their body in tip top shape.

I don't know when he stopped but Kareem used to have a lollypop whenever he went to the bench during a game.

when you're young you can get away with eating pretty much anything. combine that with the amount of constant excercise these athletes are doing and a lil extra sugar aint gona do shit. odom was fuckin eating a trunk full of candy a week. i guess it eventually caught up to him cuz he sucks now but he became a multiple ring winner on that candy diet.

which reminds me, didnt MJ eat a buncha greasy pizza and get fuckin hammered before game 6 (the sick game?) athletes are only human, they succumb to their unhealthy vices just like anyone else. they get fucked up and come into work the next day every once in awhile, who hasn't?

The equivalent to twenty four chocolate bars per day is "a lil extra sugar?"

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! reports that the Knicks also had interest in Andre Miller, but are now focusing on dealing for Lowry. Wojnarowski also reports that the deal would center around Raymond Felton, Metta World Peace and a 2018 first round pick.

Houston's D-League team shooting chart. 3s and shots at the basket only.

Not suprising to see Houston stand out. Philly was prob on the complete opposite side last year.

It's weird that 2 of the top top seven teams either don't take mid range shots at all (Houston) or take a lot of them and make a strong percentage of them (Portland).
