Just praying Kobe will be able to play this season. And hoping somehow the Knicks can get tough enough on D to go deeper in the playoffs.

Kobe off to Nazi land to get that taco sauce shot in his knee.
Are those the official betting odds? I'd say Heat over 60, Thunder over 50.5, Rockets under 54.5, Bulls under 56.5

Honestly I'm cheering for the guy. the season seems pretty much like a formality barring an LBJ injury, but it would be great to see Oden return to his OSU form.capable_keL wrote:agreed, if they can get anything from Oden it could moreVideoKilledThe wrote: I'd say Heat over 60
If he was smart he'd be in Germany right now with Kobe.

They are probably taking into account that the Thunder will be without Westbrook for a month in a half.peanut butter wrote:Vegas thinks the Thunder is only a game better than the Dubs? Holy shit. This can't be life.

I figured. That's still a very optimistic vision of the Dubs season though. Its assuming that Bogut and Steph both go through completely injury free.

Re: 2013-14 NBA SEASON
dubs getting to 50 wins seems like a no brainer. enough depth to get through some injuries.peanut butter wrote:Gregg Popabitch wrote:They are probably taking into account that the Thunder will be without Westbrook for a month in a half.peanut butter wrote:Vegas thinks the Thunder is only a game better than the Dubs? A broken toe? Not like its a torn ACL and performing surgery is gonna enhance his performance. I say amputate it and get him back on the floor. We need to see that McCollum-Lillard backcourt debut sooner than "indefinitely"

It would really suck if t Evans is hurt bad. I like NO to do well this year, but they need him healthy.

"I think I jump higher," Rose said after scoring 13 points in 20 minutes during the Bulls' 82-76 victory against the Indiana Pacers. "I think coming into the league I was at 37 [inches vertical jump] and they tested my vertical at [a training facility], I'm probably at like a 42 [inches], so I'm jumping a little bit higher."
Rose's vertical leap was tested at Athletes' Performance, a training facility in Los Angeles. It was there where he started working with physical therapist Jen Swanson. The two developed a good rapport, and Swanson was recently hired as the Bulls' Director of Sports Performance, a position in which she oversees the team's training staff and is charged with helping keep Rose and his teammates healthy.
Rose, who has spent most of his summers in recent years working out with personal trainer Rob McClanaghan, has repeatedly said he is a more complete player having gone through hours and hours of rehab since the knee surgery.
He definitely looked like his old self Saturday night, aggressively going to the basket and showing no fear attacking the rim.
