Christian Ponder put up better numbers against the packers defense that year than kaep. If that's his marquee game than I would be seriously concerned. If he keeps having to rely on his defense to win games i would be concerned.

If he doesn't start making more than 1 read after this deal i would probably cry myself to sleep

he also has wins @NO @Car @Atl @NE

the only thing that concerns me is his play against the Seahawks, but he is not the only QB to struggle against Seattle.

@video
Agreed re Seattle but they did almost win nfc champs. The 49 v seahawk games is working it's way up there with steel v ravens as far as nfl rivalry goes

i'm on the G ride bro, I'm just saying... that's a LOT of money for a game manager. rmember what KC paid for alex smith? He had a pretty sexy winning percentage with virtually noone to throw to

we should all thank god that the tucking your ears into the hat thing didn't take off

dat collective bargaining agreement tho
Clowney just signed for 22 million
Sam Bradford signed for 78 million after he was drafted. Bradford was the last guy to score the big money

When ric gets hired as Tomlin's OC, the first instinct will be to clown, but then its gonna be like "yall wasn't wit me when I was watchin game tape of Eagles games in June, breaking down second level hot reads"

@peanutbutter
:cheers:
im at a point in my life where im basically at bottom. im working three jobs and a gig on the side i do to help attorneys every once and a while. i make less than 22k/yr right now despite the fact that im working 7 dys/wk. being a kitchen cleaning bitch making 15k/yr and sleeping in the equipment locker for any nfl team would be a serious step up.

@kel
eagles offense will be even better since theyll have an entire offseason to plan what its gonna be like without a running qb. foles will be nuts. i expect josh huff to pop up and be solid mid-late season. could be instantaneous.

foles will beast once again. people dont really understand just how similar the az offense was to the or offense even though az was basically strictly 5 wr.

but also philly d. toward the end of the year
1) the conditioning started to show in a positive way which is huge and
2) they started to pick up the zone concepts (which is where nfl defenses should be headed if theyre not already). the difference is that most nfl teams when they pattern read (man-like zone coverage) attempt to gain a numbers advantage with a safety (3 on 2 etc; 'safety over the top' etc) apart from the advantages one huge disadvantage is that this makes safety play manipulable in such a way that exposes the rest of the defense (in a macro kind of way) let alone makes the safetys job harder/basically impossible in some situations. but what the eagles were doing was switching the responsibilities from the safeties to the cbs/lbs after the safeties add in to cover the pass concept. this is tough to do in concert in the moment and is one of the reasons why the eagles d was so porous for so much of the year. but once they got it they were finally starting to stop drives but it took like probably 2/3s of the year to actually get decent and consistent but im not done with the season yet. far from it.

haha yeah. he had a fight with earl thomas too by the way which is like :wtf: i cant tell whether it was really an angry scuffle or just fucking around or some team leadership shit or what

edit. being in a new-champ city kinda sucks tho. all the bros want to talk about is the seahawks. like the rest of the nfl is garbage and not worth bothering to even think about because of an inevitable repeat im like:

they won't repeat bro. any true nfl fan will always opt to talk steel city football before the newly created, XFL jersey looking sea chickens. child please

I knew someone would point out the OTA thing.

still its a non-story, that's only a story because of how much coverage the NFL gets now.
