nope. mo pete with a 7 foot wingspan and more athleticism and more 1 on 1 ability. great pick at 17. jeff green has much more bounce, is stockier/stronger, has very little 1 on 1 pure scoring ability without a good point guard

i was just thinking how young and payne would have been top 5 picks last year lmao

I dont know how many times I saw James Young score 1-1 last year. Seems like he bailed out a lot of defenders by opting to take long jumpers, rather than beat anyone to the rim. And I'm not sure the comp of them is 1:1 because they aren't the same kinda wings, but I think they are very similar.

This Ennis pick by the Suns feels a lot like the Kendall Marshall pick a few years ago

young definitely drove to the hole creating his own scoring opportunity several times last year. the harrisons were/are not pure points and the few times they would dime young up they were almost always for 3 pointers

right off the top of my head his drive and dunk over 2 people in the ncaa tournament comes to mind

harris at 19 = amazing. you happy now stupidreg?

ennis is gonna be better than marshall but i don't know by how much, so hard to call it. all the measurables tell me ennis won't make it but all the intangibles tell me he will.

Gary Harris + Clint Capela (or anyone else you wanna throw in)...or Doug McD? Harris has Thibs-type written all over him.

I don't get this.

I see the Kendall Marshall comparisons with Ennis too. D-League, multiple trades, and then Euro ball. Marshall may hang around the league for a while though. Not sure about Ennis.

I think teams passed on Harris because most teams already have a couple smallish 2 guards, but Harris is better than those smallish 2 guards and will be a better player than many guys taken ahead of him. He might not have the "upside" as a lot of these guys, but he can help a team win games. Nuggs guard rotation will be sick with the Afflalo and Harris additions.

Love Boston's draft though. Getting Smart and Young is pretty sweet.

Also love Orlando's defensive potential with Oladipo, Gordon, and Payton.

Totally unrelated but Reece Davis is a G. It's gotta be really hard to do this job, and he's awesome at it
