What coach do you want
Of all the current coaches who might be looking for NBA job? I left out SVG because I assume he would be the (rightful) run away winner.

Went Karl, would just as easy take Lionel. Like Izzo the most out of the rest

Re: What coach do you want
I consider Tom Izzo the second best coach in college basketball, only trailing Coach K. So yeah...him.
Granted, even with a several million dollar raise I think he has zero interesting in taking the Lakers job. Of the names thrown out this morning not interested in Coach Cal, and easily prefer K Olli to him.

I think it was Simmons who noted that Ollie and Durant have a close relationship. If the Thunder fail and Brooks is let go, I wonder if Ollie might be in play to join OKC.

Saw an article on yahoo that was about the Lakers hiring Derek Fisher.
Re: What coach do you want
went izzo. guy is a tremendous developer of talent and a stalwart practitioner of the half court game.
when youre playing a good half court game you are always in the game
when youre playing good defense you are always in the game
combine them shits for constant success

Re: What coach do you want
I'm with the Ollie love too, Hollins and Karl are nice fallback options. I love Izzo, but college guys have a bad track record (I know, I know Ollie's a college guy too, but he played in the league). Plus Izzo ain't coming, he's had plenty of chances, no reason to bolt now.
I too would take Hoiberg over any of these guys though, even SVG. I'd actually want Hoiberg and Ollie over SVG.

Re: What coach do you want
Izzo is waaayyy better than Ollie
it's not even a question. if you're trying to lure KD out of OKC, and want to hire Ollie in an attempt to do that ok...
...but the poll is what coach do you want ... I want the best coach included in the poll, that's Izzo.

Re: What coach do you want
another thing about izzo is that every once in a while he gets a draymond(?sp) or a cleaves and these guys make his shit better but his players are just so good at playing as a team and doing their job and playing their position at a high level in ways that contribute to the success of the team. dude doesnt just ride raw talent like soooo many other coaches/schools

Went Karl. Like his experience. Pretty sure we're getting Kerr.
