Johnny wont stay healthy and he wont be coachable. he'll try to make plays with his feet instead of his arm and he'll get hurt more than RG3.

Bortles is not ROFLberger.. he is a white tall piece of meat and that doesnt translate into win

Teddy has been the best QB in college and the numbers show it, the game tape shows it, his 3rd down completion percentage proves it. Mike fucking Myock sabotaged him because he didnt wear and glove and throw well in shorts. shut the fuck up Myock, you racist piece of shit

NCAA is very different than the NFL, tho.

Teddy is the strongest, toughest, and most athletic of the three. He is also very intelligent as far as football offense. And he has the bomb ass first name. Teddy FTW.

Manziel. He has an "it" factor that the other guys don't have. The modern NFL QB has to be able to improvise, unless you're a first ballot HOFer, and JF can do that with the best of them. Will he throw some bad picks? Yeah. But will he put your team in a position to win on a regular basis? I think so. TB screams average to me, and Bortles.. Who knows? Just can't really trust a guy named Blake Bortles to be that guy.

Really glad the Rams didn't wisen up and take Manziel. Bradford is not gonna get them over that hump I don't care how good the other 52 are. They'll be Bengals-like IMO.

Went teddy. He's got dudes. He's got flash Jennings and  ap  and rudolph

#2 has the highest ceiling but he's probably not in the right situation

Bortles is actually probably in the best situation because Jax can't afford to be biased in stupid ways (ie they will design the offense more like ucf and it kind of already is) and the Jax d will be good AND they drafted Allen Robinson who is wr with most potential in this class in my opinion

But right now teddy is the best qb in the second best situation

I like Bridgewater and Manziel but went with Manziel. Injuries are a huge concern but I believe he can be the modern Jim McMahon if healthy. Skill set he is the white Russell Wilson. He has very good accuracy.

Bortles is just another guy that looks right that will fail in the NFL. See countless other 6 5 cats with big arms though the years.

Gerard and Bridgewater have nothing in common. Nothing similar physically or in their style of play.

If Teddy can build up his arm strength he'll be alright. Lots of cold outdoor games in his future.

I would say Johnny has the biggest bust factor due to his size and style of play, if he can put it together Browns can make the playoffs this year. Legit defense and offensive weapons, new RB Terrance West is awesome.

Blake Bortles sucks.

Yeah I'm not really sold on the guy. I was impressed when they beat Louisville though. Saw most of that game. I think it was a midweek or late night game. Remember being impressed with ucf offense and their ability to move the ball

Honestly though i wish Tajh wouldve been drafted somewhere else. Well probably never fucking see his potential unlocked with nyj

Twas a Friday night game, the AAC/Big East (RIP) special. I think he'll be alright, but I wouldn't have drafted him in the first round let alone 3rd overall. Lucky for the rest of the country in the case he turns out to be good, UCF alums are mostly contained to the I-4 corridor otherwise you'd be exposed to how insufferable they are.

Hate? I LOVE JFF. You talk about him winning and yet he has no titles or championships so i guess we define winning differently, the handful of games you've seen notwithstanding of course

the team that wins the SEC usually plays for the national title so that's a pretty stupid argument that he didn't win. he won a heisman. he led his teams to victory, literally. *shakes head* by your logic tim tebow and trent dilfer are bigger winners than him.

Yea say what you want about him being a joke as QB, but it's impossible to deny that Tebow is one of the most successful college QBs ever

The big winner is apparently seeded behing Hoyer & tyler thigpen

Browns GM: Hoyer 'substantially' ahead of JFF

GM Ray Farmer said Brian Hoyer is presently ahead of Johnny Manziel by a "substantial margin" in the Browns' quarterback competition.

We wouldn't expect Farmer to say otherwise, considering how they've handled Manziel since the draft. It's also not unordinary for Hoyer to be well ahead of Manziel at this point in time. Hoyer has been in the league for six years; Manziel just took his first rep with the Browns' veterans this week. JFF should be able to close the gap fairly quickly this summer. He's considered the heavy favorite to start under center for the Browns Week 1 in Pittsburgh.

I feel like Manziel is hands down the most talented of the bunch...but he's in Cleveland eeehhh so given his situation it's real tough for me to sit here and say he will have the best career of the bunch. factor in that, Josh Gordon is gonna be suspended all year, and that he is injury proned and there are some serious question marks.

Where as Teddy could Alex Smith his way to being a solid NFL starter. He has Purple Jesus to hand the ball off to, and Flash to make plays for him. Much better situation. Also, the NFC north is not exactly known for defense, I'd much rather face packers, lions, bears than the ravens, steelers, bengals. Plus having Norv Turner will be a huge boost for Teddy's development, Norv will put him in the position to succeed.

It's kind of like trying to judge players in fantasy football, sure Larry Fitzgerald is one of the best WRs in the game, but will the production match the talent? This will largely be influenced by the situation around them.

@video
I used to think so too. But the browns stocking up on wrs has me rethinking this. Well see how it plays out and I agree that the browns situation is wack in general (especially questionning shanahans ability to learn from his mistakes with rg3) but the fact that they look like they are surrounding him with wrs will make his world so much more manageable if they can embrace the 4/5 wr tempo spread they become real scary to a steeler fan because now not only do you have to account for 4wr option play (see Tebow creaming steel for zone blitz susceptibility to option) manziel can basically be rb option #1 in 4 and 5 wr sets (rb being lead blocker)
