Jordan, Bron or Bonds. Not sure I can distinguish between the three. I know Bo Jackson is probably gonna win, but he was a lil before my time, so I didn't appreciate him the way others did.

Voted Barry sanders. Just because he was my favorite to watch from that list, out side of the other Barry.

I know you're just trolling at this point, but its so damn sad to see proclaimed Chicago fan to say Rose > Jordan, in any regard. Rose might not be in the top five best athletes to wear a Chicago uniform, if you consider Frank Thomas, Bo Jackson, Walter Payton & MJ. Shit on another day you could make the case that Pippen was a superior athlete to Rose. Scottie's abilities in a 6'8" frame for from 87-97 are vastly superior to what Rose has done in playing less than 300 games over five years.

Health is the cornerstone of athleticism and if you can't stay on the field, you can't be considered a great athlete. I hate to say this, because the possibilities of it scare me, but thats why I wouldn't consider taking Trout in this thread. He has to sustain his greatness for a decade plus to be considered with the likes of Jordan/Bonds/Gretzky/etc. And considering his apparent mastery of his sport, the only thing thats gonna prevent Trout from joining these ranks is staying healthy. Otherwise, he's gonna be closer to Ken Griffey Junior. Who though was undoubtedly a great athlete at his peak, just didn't have enough healthy seasons to deserve inclusion here. I'd probably consider A-Rod a greater athlete than Junior, but A-Rod in 2014 is too nuclear to get any votes in this poll.

Went with Barry sanders because watching him was unlike anything i ever saw. For a while Mike tyson was the most dominating fighter ever. Also could make a case for Bolt who is in the same tier.
Hey, by the way who's Curt?

went bo. the thread says 'best athlete' not best player at their sport, in which case it would probably be jordan/gretzky.

its either deion or bolt
bolt because motherfucker breaks world records taking it easy and looking around in the middle of the race
but ultimately i went deion because the dude is the best cover corner (read: high(est) athleticism position) to ever play the game and played at a high level on 3 sides of the ball

like i love mj and some others on the list (i never really got to see bo jackson though) but its got to be deion sanders here. dude played baseball part time still was a pretty good player like stfu so hard dude played on actually good big league squad who knew he was phoning it in and still wanted him in the starting lineup

Shaq and D Howard should probably be on the list. Can't think of anyone else I have ever seen who has combination of their size/strength/quickness/Hops in any sport.

I would definitely put Shaq on my list of best athletes i've seen in my lifetime. I've never seen anyone his size move like he does. Ever.

If this was most dominating then maybe, but from the list I can't say Shaq was more athletic. But I wouldn't argue with him being list. Jordan was the best player ever. Shaq, I'm not sure you could say is the best, or the best center ever with Russell or Wilt, Kareem or from a tech standpoint The Dream?

I'm just saying from a pure athletic specimen standpoint.

Not saying he'd be my vote, but I feel pretty confident Mike Trout could dominate pretty much any of the major sports
