Rodgers played pretty well a couple years ago in a 4 game stretch where Nelson was injured too. We'll see. Losing Nelson definitely sucks. But with a slight gameplan change, we could still be a pretty decent offence.

When you say this are you also saying you're firmly in the camp that he will never regain his speed again? I ask because if he is still going to be a running qb then these years are pretty important for his prime, so wasting those years on the bench could be a detriment to his career in that aspect.

I think he needs to go somewhere where he can just learn what it takes to be a QB in this league. On the field and dealing with the media then maybe in a few years try to get another job as a starter.

If he were to go to the Eagles, best case scenario it would be like when Vick was there. Look amazing for a short period of time and then ultimately flame out. I just think going somewhere and being able to reset would be his best shot at sustaining a career.
