You say these kind of things to get reactions? Right? Lol
Kinda bummed I missed it, but had to watch the dubs get those rings. Should be a good series, I'm pulling for the royals.

I must have done something to you years ago. Probably around the time the Giants were in the World Series, but you have easy been Employeeing me for years now. How did I hurt you brah?

How could they be more dangerous than making back to back World Series? You're a borderline skip bayless, it's nothing personal.
My point is if they had legit starters like the Mets, they would be in the WS for the next 3 years. But you knew what I meant, you're just hurt (still). Sorry boo.
No dude that's not how it is all. A majority of the time you have no idea what you're talking about. And no one ever calls you out.
You realize the royals are built on defense and hitting? Their team will get destroyed by free agency eventually but they have a good farm system. And very few teams will ever have a rotation like the mets, ever. But you knew that.
Royals remind me of the '93 Phillies. Bunch of gutsy guys battling it out with every AB. Great fastball hitters too. They just grind. But I fear their rotation will be the reason they never win a ring. So that is what I'm saying, but you already know that. Again, I'm sorry.
I looked up the contracts today, they maybe have a window through 2017 before they lose hosmer, etc.
It's this year or 2017 for both teams. 2016= #evenyear

ol "my pappy got me a Yankees hat when he went to New York so now I like them too!" ass.

this is a sad day for baseball and rstennet
They actually bought 2-7 at face value, which was pretty good. Sold the tickets to Game 6 and made all the money back.
I just always like the franchise. There isn't any deep psychological thing going on here.
Back to missing the playoffs for the next 20 years. Ownership really fucked this up. But when you're owned by the Canadian equivalent of Comcast, what do you expect?

The royals deserved it. The mets choked every time.
Also, how come none of the commentators just straight up said "That tying run was Duda's fault" cause, well, it was. He had him at home and that shitty throw basically cost them the series.

I immediately equated that to the Buckner play. I mean, without that wild throw the game was all but over. The reality is, the two best bats the Mets had did absolute nothing this series. Reed, Clippard and even Familia got lite up for the most part. Royals grind like a mutha.

I thought about Buckner immediately too. Royals were absolutely gunning for that championship. Feel a bit bad for the Mets because it really was much closer than what the final scores of the games suggest.
