is espn insider worth it?

not really thread worth.. i attempted a search and failed..

is the writing/stories/access really that much above and beyond?

we used to have an insider thread. I used to consider it a must have...but now twitter is where I go for instant news

I've never had it and don't feel as if I'm missing out. Plenty of good sports writers out there for free.

The only time I ever feel it could be worth it is the time period leading up to the NFL draft.

I only use it for basketball. Once in a while have good stuff from amin, haberstroh, pelton, or few other random people in forgetting. You aren't missing too much, but nice to have. Rotoworld cool for updates, but almost all their analysis is terrible.
