Re: NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
Totally legit. I actually voted Jameis as my other pick. Seems like dude is a real leader judging by his comments at the end of the season.
Re: NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
Gurley and jameis. Gurley because he's already one of the best rbs in the league. jameis because it took him a bit and he's not fully realized but dude will be a straight g under center and is showing it even though his wr corps is falling apart for the most part
didn't vote mariota because the limitations are still there. didn't vote Lockett because as good as he is at some things his speed makes it easier for him to do what he's been successful at. didn't vote amari because that whole offense has been opened up since last year

Re: NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
Jameis racked up a lot of those stats in garbage time. He threw 7 picks for TD
he's like Bortles: sexy stats but not winning games

I like bortles. the buccaneers are more competitive than people think though. jameis has gotten better and I believe by next season he will be even better still.capable_keL wrote:Jameis racked up a lot of those stats in garbage time. He threw 7 picks for TD

Jameis is that dude, watched him every chance I got this year. Already one of the best leaders in the league as a rookie.
Gurley was great too, but it's hard to compare a RB to a rookie starting QB. As far as Kel saying Jameis is sexy stats, no wins, you couldn't be more wrong. Jameis is pretty much the only reason that team won any games. He was at his best in the fourth quarter and in crunch time and was way more dangerous with his legs than anybody anticipated.

Yeah I think both Jameis and Bortles are good QBs to build around.
jury is still out on Mariota though.
