hmmm, i have a favorite player in both baseball and basketball that is not on my favorite team

josh smith of the hawks, opposed to my pacers

jose reyes of the mets, opposed to my yankees

is this bitchmade of me?

(they're not my ABSOLUTE favorite, just...top-3 easily)

I have fav players on other teams but they both played for my fav team at one point or another. Eg. Vince carter.

Rudi Johnson and Dom Davis were my favorite players last year. I usually get really bent out of shape over my fantasy running backs but if they are carrying my team then I tend to root for them regardless.

my favorite players are usually on my favorite teams...only exception was that omar vizquel used to be my favorite player(kind of still is, i just never get to see him anymore) and im a yanks fan....then again, im not sure i really liked him more than jeter or rivera at any point....but in baseball i often like players from different teams

in the nfl i typically hate anyone not on the giants...i respect a lot of players, but my favorites are all on the giants....my top 10 would probably be all giants

nba...i still love those knicks....JYD, steph, nate robinson(yes, already), ariza.....but i dont know anyone that doesnt like to watch lebron or d wade

Why not? I mean like me, I am a Twins fan but David Ortiz is like my favorite guy (hard not to be). And I love Eddie Guardado, Doug Mientkiewicz, Corey Koskie, Matt Lawton, and all those dudes who used to play for the Twins (I even sort of like LaTroy Hawkins. Sort of.)

But I guess that wasn't even the question. My favorite player is Jacque Jones, so nevermind.

Well, for the record, I only said half bitchmade. The Yankees basically always have a team largely composed of bitches, and I'm biased against the Pacers because I don't like Reggie Miller.

Its true. Yankees are the perfect example. They'll make the playoffs, but they won't win the WS. When was the last time they won? At this point, they are pretty much an also ran.

My favorite team used to be the Knicks, but them losing to the Rockets in the finals (DAMN YOU OJ) killed me. I became less and less of a fan until now I just watch a few players.

I'd list my favorite basketball player, but you guys already know I vowed not to make threads about him. Let's just say he carries on my tradition of players rocking the number 3.
