Frederico Oberto?

Post by Positive A »

I just saw on the tv that San Anton is "close" to signing this guy. Anyone know anything about him? He's Argentinian so I'm assuming he played on the Olympic gold medal squad? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

top 5 player in europe.

center.

6-10.

had vlade divac type passing skills. rough and rugged. has post moves.

30 y/o

was part of the argentinan team that beat the USA in the world championships and part of the team that won the gold medal. poured in 28 points on vlade divac in the world championships finals.

didn't want to come over to the states because he was being paid lavishly in europe and didn't see the point to coming to the states to be paid bit money and be a role player. now he's older and he wants to give the US a shot.

except sabonis was 7-3 290, with multiple knee injuries that made him move like a tortoise.

I would have loved to have seen Sabs at his very best.
