Word, but this was more true pre-Katrina. The past season, there was little excitement, save the victory at Carolina on Opening Day and the near loss to Atlanta in the Alamo Dome.
I think the departure of McCarthy, as necessary as it was, took away some excitement from the offense too.
I'm not too sure what to expect from the upcoming season. The Saints are a much better team than their 3-13 record indicates. I'm optimistic (it is the offseason afterall).
