Was weirdly into this shit when I was a kid. The power of ABC Sports, I guess.

That said, haven't watched a race or known shit about it since 84 when Rick Mears won it for the 2nd of 4 times.

Kind of randomly decided to pay attention and watch it again this year.

Anyone else remotely interested?

I love open car racing but stopped giving a shit about American open wheel racing once Juan Pablo Montoya left for F1. I will probably watch a bit depending on whither i finish watching the Monaco Grand Prix in time. If you have speed channel I would suggest watching that. I doubt there will be but maybe 4 or 5 passes on track and all by in the back of the pack or mid pack but no other course in the world challenges a driver like the principality.
