"Hot buttered soul" and "to be continued" are near untouchable.

I picked up the "disco connection" album by him a few months back and was pleasanty suprised as it's not only a really good lp which isn't overly tacky disco but also because it contains the sample to "?" by MF Doom & Kurious and the interludes from "operation doomsday".

Hot Buttered Soul is a perfect album. An absolute flawless work of genius. "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" is one of the greatest achievements in popular music history.

I'd take Curtis over Ike any day of the week though.

you are the mufuckin man.

and hayes is better than mayfield and a lot of others...but hutch is better than mayfield, imo. definitely more talented...even if his career was never as successful or "groundbreaking"

One of my favorite parts of that movie is when Donald Pleasance goes ape shit screaming "YOU'RE THE DUKE YOU'RE THE DUKE A #1" and shoots Hayes on the hood of that car.
