For One Million Dollars...

Post by cascarrabias »

Would you listen to a Godsmack album every day for the rest of your life?

Doesn't matter which one. You'd have to listen to it in its entirety, every day. And you could not start it when going to sleep. You'd have to be awake.

Ok, say we all live for 50 more years. That's 18250 days. One hour out of each day = 18250 hours. $1,000,000 / 18250 = approx. $55.

Fifty-five bucks an hour for self-torture? I'll pass, thanks.

But yeah, you could do other stuff while listening to it.

what's the equivalent of Godsmack in hiphop terms?

say "Illmatic"="Reign in Blood"
When people think of Providence, Rhode Island they typically think of organized crime

ICP maybe?

Just think some group/album/artist that tries to come off "hardcore", and maybe by "mainstream" standards sound just slightly "edgier" but still mad sucky.

no, i think everybody agreeing is underestimating the damage it would do to your psyche. After about 5 years you'd give away whatever of that money is left just to be deaf and not have to listed to it

Yeah, I don't think I could do it. I'd eventually go insane.

i think i could easily do this for 1 mil if i could have the volume quieter. i can easily tune out things when they're not gratingly loud.

plus after the album finishes quietly, i could put something i like on, as i sit by the pool sipping my drink in the sun...

Yeah, if it's a lump sum.

I could listen to it when I wake up and cook breakfast in my million dollar home.
