been listening to this a lot lately.

Time to Pretend
Electric Feels
Kids

are all extra dope cuts, "Weekend Wars" is alright.
basically I really dig the first half of the album, the latter is questionable, kinda gets spacey and drifts for me... I lose interest.
I like that groovy shit.

good band....although i don't think anyone from the flaming lips produced it. i've heard them garner alot of comparisons to the lips, but i hadn't heard that they were being produced by them.

Yeah I think that's wrong.

I grew up with their bassist...good band. I think they're gonna be big.

You guys should check out Yeasayer as well....

They're produced by Dave Fridmann, who was a member of Mercury Rev. He's produced about a million Flaming Lips albums.

Nope,

Anyway, good album. I still think Time to pretend is the best song on there but the whole thing has really grown on me.

Did he produce the Yeasayer album too? Both bands got a similar vibe, and coincidentally, MGMT is Yeasayer's 1st friend on myspace(no homo)...

i'm not a rock type of guy at all, trust me on that, or a hippie, but my little sister put me up on to these guys, after i heard 'electric feel' on there myspace page she showed me, i was hooked, that song is bare soulful, like some psychedic soulful blaze up a couple of zoots(spliffs), kick back and relax, type of vibe, that tune is big, thev got talent

here's two tunes i'm feeling from there cd my sister has
