Rick Rubin Blog?

I'd follow it for sure.

It wouldn't even have to be that grand of an undertaking. Even if once a week you uploaded a 10-15 track compilation of the best stuff discussed or uploaded here, it'd be a great thing.

Just throwing it out there.

we pretty much have that thanks to Fuckin' A.

invite only though.

but something that is not dedicated to seminal albums, but songs current and classic would be dope as well.

fuck a pitchfork 500 book.

Sebastian I think you're hilarious but you can have one Soca thread and go to town. Jelq and soca with a plethera of crack whores. But if you add your mumbo jumbo to other threads I will delete it with a quickness.

i occasionally make threads for some weird obscure psych shit and get little to no replies, and i'm ok with that

mt1 occasionally makes threads about some crazy metal shit that get the same reception, and he's ok with that

please conduct your shit in a similar manner and be ok with that. there's no need for a soka dissertation attached to every music thread you read

monique seka is west african zouk from the ivory coast. its their version of zouk, a musical style developed in the french west indies. she is a beautiful singer and the guitar playing is top notch

mad professor is a guyanese dub musician living in london and has worked with king tubby, scientist and lee perry as well as horace andy

mc coy tyner is a legendary rhythmic jazz pianist similar to ahmad jamaal, dollar brand or cecil taylor

johnny dyani is south africa's charles mingus, a wonderful upright bass musician with a deep deep sound

this is not obscure music, this is not soca... yall are just sheltered. and weird too, your behavior is irritating to someone who likes music and wants to share its beauty.
