Lil Wayne's Hot Revolver

Post by blastmaster »

I guess this should be posted here? Better than any of the rapper turned bad autotune singer shit Kanye has ever attempted.

I may be a complete stan/faggot, but this is AWESOME. I would easily pay for an album of this shit.

Didn't listen yet but I truly believe Wayne would rather be known as a rocker than rapper.

Well, he's been doing it for damn near 15 years, and has reached levels of skill, popularity, fame and acclaim that no one could have ever imagined when he started. Add in some drugs and you get a bored, creative and very vey busy young guy with tons of time and money. All of those factors mean can pretty much satisfy any musical desire he has without much trouble. Until he puts out an official release of this stuff, I truly believe his is just fucking around in the studio experimenting and enjoying his talent. People like MB who diss Wayne for not having "quality control" or "fading" or "falling off" need to realize the majority of this stuff has not been meant for consumption at any level. You can criticize his offical albums and mixtapes all you want, but all of the leaked (Empire and such) shit should be seen as stolen and possibly unfinished, or simply not meant for any public audience.

End fanboy defense.

this shit doesnt need to be in RR.
i got no problem with Wayne or him wanting to experiment with rock music. its not like he would every use a killer band or do anything but embarass himself and the peeps who choose to co sign him on rock.

Im sure its just a matter of time before he rhymes over the entire Nirvana catalog or nicknames himself Cocaine Cobain.

Id be impressed to see him do some rock shit and actually come off with it.
:rockout:
I been listening to Wayne since Get It How U Live first came out and I never felt autotune.

Would like Wayne experimentation on some rock shit a LOT more if it didn't involve fucking auto-tune.

This is much better than the shit Kanye is doing.

Let me A&R this project and I'll enlist Rubin, Timberland and Dangermouse and you'll love it.

I like how everyone's standards for what makes a good pop song have degraded so much.

Like as long as it is halfway catchy and remotely stupid it's a good pop song.

I was bumping a Tears for Fears album last night and was all :owens: for the genre of pop.
