Thanks barknee. I haven't checked out anything new in dubstep in a little while. I come back to this thread once a month or so. I have listened to some Pangaea and Zomby and I like their stuff. The others i haven't though so I will check them out. Thanks.

New hudmo is a disappointment. He added some nice touches on zooo00oom though, easily the best track on the album.

dunno if this has been mentioned in here before:
Last week Jammer signed a three album contract with Big Dada. One of the true originals of the grime scene - both as an MC and a producer - Jammer nearly signed with Big Dada two years ago (and actually played at our 10th Anniversary party), so everyone here is very pleased to have finally persuaded him! After a series of acclaimed mixtapes, Jammer's first full album is scheduled for May 2010. First single, "Party Animal," will be released later this year.
he did a PA of the single at Beyond last night and it was terrible. got air from the crowd as well.

My copy finally arrived yesterday. Pretty sick.

I'm feeling the budget plastic box it comes in - feels like a reference those old rave tape compilations.

Had a bit of time to kill today so I just knocked this up. Just done on 2 decks, no logic/cubase/reason etc.
The Game's 'Dreams' acapella over Caspa's 'Cockney Violin'. Works quite well I think.

The Game vs Caspa 'Cockney Dreams' (DJ Step One blend)

Anyone who's into old school Grime there's a few Youngstar (DDJ) released on there one of them is Bong City Instrumentals Vol.1 which features the beat from Sway's Baby Father track & The Catalogue Vol. 1-3 are on there as well which all feature Youngstar formally of Musical Mob who made Pulse X, Salsa & The Formula.

^where are these?? i'm definitely interested, youngstar was ridiculous. his beats haven't aged a bit despite (because of?) being so simple, they still go off when spyro etc drop them live.

welcome to the thread btw!
